ACT Brumbies 2026

Brumby Runner

Jason Little (69)
With the signing of Jarrah McLeod, the Brumbies look to have a very full complement of centres for 2026/7. Wondering if,say, Hudson Creighton might make an ideal backup No 15 to support Tom Wright? Looks to be a decent size, 6 foot and 90kg, and has some good pace. Has played some wing for the Brumbies so might be able to transition to the back?

Would think he'd be first up to start at 13 with Ikitau joining Exeter for next season.

Initial thoughts went to when the Tahs gave Walton a crack at 15 in the pre season in 2024 and it did not work. He might be able to do it but it’s the positional play and requirement to make play making decisions that get them unstuck.

The Brumbies have been very quiet on injury updates and signings
I am concerned for Harry Vella with 2 ACL whilst in Canberra had a comeback game in JID late May and nothing. Ieli seems to have surpassed him.
Schoupp no word on likely return.
Interesting Tevita Alatini listed today as No 16 for Gungahlin. No official word except here on Lachlan Lonergan as injured.
Unsure on Austin Anderson didn't play against Lions but no word on farewell but still has foot in Waikato camp (NPC) and junior. Maybe 3rd 5/8.
Cale hopeful for next year.

I suspect it'll be Sapsford.

In his first couple of seasons I had the impression he was a useful winger, but not sufficiently penetrative in attack at 13. This year he changed my mind. He'll never be Len, but he's earnt first crack.

Yeah, he's massively impressed, thought he was very good against the Lions.

Big, agressive and skilled. If Len ain’t around he’s about as good as you can call on if you look around. Been around the Brums for years so the learning curve isn’t there.
