Carter ahead of them all, as I don't believe he has weaknesses.

But you forget, he's not australian, that counts for a lot on this side of the ditch... Probably also explains why many Poms think wilko is the greatest modern flyhalf

Carter is an absolute champion and personally I have nothing but respect for him. For all his fame he seems the most humble of people. This makes him all that much more special in my view.

His lack of weakness is probably a testimant too how hard he works on his game. If I was a young player paving my future in the game I would look no further than Dan Carter for inspiration.

...understatement of the year.

But more still went with Carter.

Two bold quotes in one post... yay!

More should have gone with carter, I'm just surprised that Jonny is (currently) sitting at 40%, and that's even with me voting for larkham about 20 times...

And yes, I was referring to his wife... I spell honour correctly. Also, not having a go at his wife or anything, just her name... Also, shouldn't she be Honor Carter now or did she keep her name?

Nah, Larkham was the magician who controlled the backline...

Gregan was the general who provided the go between forwards and backs...

In attack, Larkham is unrivalled...

Wilkinson's kicking and defence is solid, but he can't run a backline like Bernie...

Carter is a great all rounder, but I would still go with Bernie... simply because I don't factor in goal kicking, and while all 3 are solid in defence, and Carter and Wilkinson are better players with the boot, I'm more impressed by Larkham's attacking qualities and backline management...
We'll agree to disagree on that Slim, I agree Bernie was a lovely runner,I also think Carter is, but I personally never saw him control a match as well as Carter.
in saying that you probably saw him more than me.

Did/Do they have drive ins in NZ?
Doesnt this poll just show how quickly people forget? Larkham won his RWC in 99 and Wilkinson's was 4 years later....Carter's is yet to come
