I believe the fouls play committee has moved it to the judiciary, I suspect they either not sure of sanction, or RA is appealing.
I will just say I said during game it was a dog act, I still say the same he drove into the knee from side, and pulled at foot as Will Genia says.
I not assuming he was trying to really injure him, as such, but maybe making sure he made sure he knew he was there.
Adding to that the only other time I have watched a game, and considered a thing a dog act as such was when Richard Loe bame down on Carrozza, I in no way think he thought I will break this fellas jaw either.
I know it seems strange , but I not sure of all the things I have seen on rugby field in tests either live or on tv the only cases I called a dog act. Many offences are red cards rightly, for stuffing up height, but when I saw both acts I named I was pretty disgusted. I never had time for Loe after his one and will never have time for Swain on this one regardless of judiciary outcome.
I would add Swain maybe a real nice bloke, and everyone reckoned Loe was off the field too.
And just to be clear I actually agree a with Will Genia on this one, I thought before I get accused of being just a one eyed kiwi I would quote him!
‘It looked intentional’
Aside from the late drama, there was another big moment of controversy, when Darcy Swain received a yellow card for going through Quinn Tupaea’s knee and putting him out of action for three months.
I didn’t like what Darcy did. I don’t rate that at all.
I don’t care what Dave says or anyone wants to say to try to justify it. He goes in for his knee and twists his ankle and his knee with his body weight.
They said he got a head roll or neck roll the play before. Right or wrong, sometimes you get caught in a position where you get neck rolled because that used to be a technique people used to clean out. Sometimes you get caught in those positions because it’s a high-collision sport played at an intense pace.
It looked intentional to me. There’s plenty of room for error as far as head knocks, as far as high tackles, and tackling in the air all go, but for a guy to do something intentionally like that you’ve got to stamp it out of the game.
