Another EWE performance for Scotland.

Missed kicks and inability to score tries hurt.

Good game otherwise, even contest, despite the breakdown calls undeservedly favouring the Samoans.

Sa'aga was excellent in a poor scrum. Cam Skelton was scum, instigating fights and more than one dangerous tackle. As were the tighthead and the blindside who took out the player at the lineout.

No games won, no points won, relegation looms.

Based on enthusiasm in singing the National Anthem, England seem to be slightly ahead of Australia.

Anthems haven't been a strong point for any team so far. The pre recorded choral tapes have been either too slow or too fast for most teams.

Scrum not as dominant looks slightly weaker. Great run by RHP set-up by a nice deft pass by Staniforth.

Try White. Snuck through our close in defence in the A channel to burgle a meat pie.

Eng now 8 Gold 7. Easy conversion to come. ENG 10 - AUS 7.

13 minutes gone.

This wing Nathan Earle from Team ENG looks the goods. Great battle on the Kellaway wing.

England 10-7, England seem to have a bit more enthusiasm at the breakdown and applying a lot of pressure in defence so far.

Refereeing has been woeful so far in this match as well as the France v Fji one. A player in front of England kicker in front of the referee moved upfield without waiting to be onside!

Great continuity and pressure from the Soap Dodgers. Aus not seeing the ball for the last 10 minutes.

What pill we get is under pressure and invariably kicked away under pressure.

The ENG pressure gets meat and chopsticks. 17 ENG, 7 AUS. 18 1/2 minutes gone.

Maybe we daren't Believe?

Soap Dodgers defence is well organised. Forcing errors from the men in gold.

V lucky that the Orc dotted that Placid kick down and didn't let it go dead for a scrum back on the 1/2 way where he kicked it from.

Baby bees?

Aren't Little Wallabies called Joeys. Nice tie in to St Josephs College (Nudgee and Hunters Hill).
