Hey whats your problem Cyc?

A Babelfish is a small fish you stick in your ear which translates any language into your preferred tongue - see Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, by the late genius, Douglas Adams. Also a useful web site for translating stuff. Just pissing around, Paarl...sorry for the highjack!

Can't wait to see the games, hope to see Griquas and WP win their respective battles. Man I love Currie Cup season, even more than the Tri-Nations.

• Griquas lock Hendrik Roodt

Missed out seeing the ex Tahs player in that game as I tuned in sometime after half time and he had obiviously been replaced by then prior to Griquas' fightback from 22 to 8 down to eke out a memorable win 40 to 34...

Be interesting to see if he is picked again next week...

WeePee ease the pain yesterday with a surprise performance in Os fontein. They keep their S14 form and beat the Tin Ears hands up yesterday, all theree teams. U19,U21 & seniors. Watching Duvenhage dominate from the back and even his blood replacement miles ahead of Pie Eater. He wont even make WP bench after this performance, giving Willem all the time and freedom to dominate them with the boot. We obvious have a great defensive system and all those rookie newbie backline players defended like demons.

Rassie now coaching the U21s and some real talent in that lot.

Vodacom Free State Cheetahs 11 - 25 Vodacom Western Province Vodacom Park, Bloemfontein
10 GWK Griquas 40 - 34 Sharks GWK Park, Kimberley
9 Vodacom Blue Bulls 38 - 15 Barloworld Toyota Pumas Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria
9 Platinum Leopards 13 - 43 Xerox Lions

Watched the Biltong Boere despatch the Guppies also. Roodt and their tight five getting stuck in them and Roodt was great in the lineouts.

CC rugby is great.

So how was Roodt's pace around the park? In the S14 he looked like he might make the ruck in the next game only.

Ja any more on Roodt's game? I can't watch it until Friday. And good to see VeerPeer pull off the win.

Is it just me or do teams wearing old style jerseys look ridiculous playing teams with Super rugby style ones? Strange.

Which S15 team are the Griquas affiliated with?

This is presuming the SA provincial system works the same as the NZ one.

Natal have signed fly-half Jacques-Louis Potgieter for 2011. Will play Super 15 and Currie Cup next year. Pretty interesting that Natal announced it this week, with Pottie coming to Durbs with his current team the Bulls this weekend. Gamesmanship?
