Absolutely. Also the power of the ABs brand, sponsorships are more than triples ours for last year

    Force 2023

State laws differ but would certainly be up for a court date and possible conviction in NSW

    Subbies 2023!

It's a really frustrating time for a bye, just when teams are building some momentum into the season

Yep and at the rumoured $1.5mil/season it would be a monumental waste considering our current 8 stocks - Valeteni, Wilson, Gleeson, and now Naisarani back in the fold. He's not Wallaby eligible but even Melbourne look to have locked up their long term 8 in Ekuasi. Hopefully it's just 1)...

SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) 2023 General Chat

Let's keep it realistic. Even if the Tahs and Reds played the 80 minutes in the nude they would be lucky to get half as many who tuned into the NRL coverage yesterday. Only way to get anything close would be for a game involving the Wallabies at a time that didn't clash with either code

    Queensland Reds 2024

4 locks all of which were under the age of 23 is hardly warehousing either IMO. Particularly when 3 were developed in QLD and the other played a lot at 6 Rugby Australia would have been stoked to have them developing in Brisbane under Thorn

    Wallabies 2023

Played Rugby, Basketball and AFL at primary school and Rugby all through High School, but was always a "League Kid". Makes absolutely zero sense

    Wallabies 2023

Absolutely. Particularly when blokes like Tom Banks and Rory Arnold are getting 1.5mil to play in Japan in 2023 Or in Rory's case not play....

    Wallabies 2023

You've got to remember this contract doesn't start until 2025. Ponga is on 1.4 mil this year. Mitch Moses was offered 1.4 mil to go to the Tigers next year. Not sure, how much league you watch but he has certainly established himself as a star with all the right attributes for a quality...

    Wallabies 2023

I get the premise of the Wallabies rest weeks, it's a long year but surely a young winger like Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) is better served playing as many games as possible. Especially in a pressure cooker environment like Eden Park opposite a backline full of All Blacks. Seems like a missed development...

    Wallabies 2023

Great news. At the risk of getting ahead of ourselves I wonder what the plan for him is once the season is finished? Ideal situation the liners allow him a little short term contract in Perth to get some more game fitness

    Wallabies 2023

Payne Haas would a better bet, would love to see it

    Subbies 2023!

I was watching this on Cluch, appeared to be a Red Card for a legit push. Any more info on that? Thought he must have abused the ref or something as rewinded a few times and didn't even look like a penalty. Agree, even match and from the scores a very even day all round.

    Moana v Reds 14/4

And the next sentence "But what a gain for the Reds he has been..."

    Wallabies 2023

Great news. Our very kind draw and current depth allows them to ease into. Going off the 1st squad and assuming all fit could look at something like Slipper, AAA starting and Robertson, Pone 30 mins off the bench vs Georgia Slipper, AAA starting and Bell, Tupou 20 mins off the bench vs Fiji...

    Wallabies 2023

Yep what I'm hearing is Bell is looking increasingly unlikely of returning at all this year
  17. T

    Wallabies 2023

Wilson the real head scratcher of an omission. He's been in excellent form and Jones has repeatedly said he is after work rate. That said not sure he has been any better than Valetini or Gleeson so perhaps just unlucky to be behind quality players

    Wallabies 2023

This is the big worry with Taniela leading into the World Cup. He'll only get a handful of games probably at club level before the squad is picked. All well and good to play 20 mins off the pine, but if the starting TH goes down and he has to play 60 in a knock out game we could be in real trouble

    Wallabies 2023

Surely an international Rugby coach isn't teaching technique, it would all be patterns and structure

Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 1st April, GIO

Pretty decent back row considering Gleeson, Swinton and Gamble are all unavailable
