    Waratahs 2023

Nah thats not quite correct. He played a lot of junior Rugby before School. There's photos of him running around in an Eastwood jersey in like under 10s

    Wallabies 2023

He'd struggle in France, no Resches for a minimum of 6 weeks!

    Waratahs 2023

You see it a lot in NFL, they often talk about how the offensive guys coming back from knee/achilles injuries don't get their full zip back until year 2 post surgery. Fingers crossed this is not the case with Perese. Or Kerevi, QC (Quade Cooper) from a Wallabies perspective for that matter

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I know they had the option in their favour but $30 mil for 2025, which includes the Lions series, seems like an absolute bargain for 9/Stan

    Crusaders v Brumbies

Real Northern Hempisphere thinking from Bernie. Not a bad tactic with the way the table is looking, specifically the Crusaders and Blues with two losses each, plus the mandatory Wallaby rest weeks

Qld Reds v Fiji Drua Sun 19-3-23

Interesting I thought Wilson was excellent yesterday. I had him as MOM

    Brumbies v Moana 7.35pm 18/3/23

14k at the Raiders last night. Not bad for the 6:15pm Sunday timeslot coming off back to back losses. Don't think there is any incentive for them to work with the Brumbies

Round 4: Hurricanes v Waratahs, Friday 17th March

It is certainly one way to quickly determine if he is up to playing 15 for the rest of the season or not. TBH the only other option was Donaldson at the back, although he's played there so far this year he is a natural 10, hardly a much safer option.

    Waratahs 2023

Not really. Even if we lose all 3 we are still a decent shot at making finals

    Reds v Brumbies - Take 1

Thoroughly entertaining watch from a neutral's (Wallaby fan) perspective. All the big names seem to stand up Brumbies fans, how much is the crowd, or lack thereof a concern? Looked to be well below 10k. First home game of the year, coming off 2 fantastic away wins, one over your rivals the...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Newsome has been on fire all season for Clermont starting at fullback from the outset. Add him to the list of players' who seem to find another notch in Europe

    Brumbies 2023

Copped a head knock at training last week
  13. T

    Reds 2023

If his fit, he's going to the World Cup.

    Wallabies 2023

He also grew up playing Union for Eastwood from the age of 10. Might be time to give Wikipedia a flick

    Wallabies 2023

Played on the wing last year and tore it up. Would be odds on to play origin this year I don't think even they predicted he would be this good at 19. Were probably thinking he'd play on the wing for at least 4-5 years before taking over at fullback.

    Wallabies 2023

Yes and better yet the Roosters have Tedesco (current Aus fullback/captain) and Joey Manu (current Kiwi fullback) locked away on long term deals so barring injury he's going to have to move somewhere if he wants to play fullback

    Wallabies 2023

Agree he would be able to play at a high level but it annoys me when Cam Murray gets referenced as someone who was lost to Rugby. He's an out and out leaguie, whose Dad played for the Rabbitohs as well and only played a bit of union because he was on a full scholarship at Newington. It's...

    Wallabies 2023

Agree with the above, but its January and there's no Rugby on here so its fun to speculate. The Tele reporting this morning the 3 players are 1. Joseph Sua'ali'i 2. Will Pennisi 3. Nelson Asofa-Solomona First two have a strong Rugby history and are making waves in the NRL at a very young age...
