    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

It would make sense for Tupou to go to a club where he will consistently be able to play 80 minutes of premier grade every week, which will be brilliant for his development. A club like Wests, Norths, Bond whom don't have rep front rowers and don't have much depth in the front row. So not only...

I see what you did there trainerGB..... Very disappointing for the eagles to lose Maafu. What are norths stocks like to replace him? Losing him and tasi in 2 years will be massive loses down at shaw rd

    NRC Expansion

I personally think that expansion would ruin everything this competition is about. Having only 9 teams, makes competition for spots that much harder meaning a greater standard of play. I think a similar model to new Zealand's heartland championship would be a brilliant idea though. It would...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Interesting to see if the reds sign Caleb Timu for the 2016 season. I know this is the 2015 thread, but with Caleb being on his 2nd year of his Mormon missionary in 2015, he becomes a free agent in 2016. Was a standout union player at school and very good player in broncos NYC over the last 2...

I was at the NRC game on Sunday and heard rumours that norths qld country hooker tonga Maafu is off to uni next season. Not sure if true but hat would be a massive loss for the already struggling eagles. Do they have the manpower to replace him?

    QLD Premier Rugby 2015

I was talking to someone at Norths when I went out and watched a game, and they said the average age of Norths Prems team was 22. That is very young compared to some others and with only 3 players over 25, if the club can hold onto these young players and hopefully have found a long term coach...

Anyone know when this squad gets announced? And with that any players who you think should make the squad?

2015 will make for a very interesting year. I assume there will be multiple players moving clubs. What GPS players will follow Fogarty to Norths? What GPS players will follow Picone and co to Souths? What players will Dammers bring to GPS with him? Will be a very busy off season I suspect.

Will be interesting to see how they go without Toua, Placid and Seutini. Who will they have they're eye on or will we see the return of the cox brothers?

100% agree with you filth. Wouldnt it be good of the qru could release a whole list of points for the Alec Evans medal. I'm sure some players would love to see if they got any or where they were in the leaderboard

How does Sam Richards make the easts premier team then? Ryan is twice the player he is and showed it today when outclassing Phil kite from GPS

    QLD Colts 2014

Point taken. But he would be playing premier grade currently for souths and easts at least, hence why souths made a play for him after the trial against each other. And in regards to the 4 who missed out, that was purely because of better players in the position who were also playing prems...

    QLD Colts 2014

This may seem one eyed, and I do agree with your point about norths struggling, but Garrath Ryan is playing Premier Grade for a reason. He is more than up to it. If he were playing in the premier colts competition, he would be dominating every prop in scrums and his work rate is second to none...

Early Prediction for QLD u/20s: 1. Garrath Ryan (Norths) 2. Jayden Rodwell (GPS) 3. Dylan Sikimeti (GPS) 4. Phil Potgeiter (Uni) 5. Adam Korczyk (Uni) 6. Brad Wilkin (Easts) 7. Michael Gunn (Easts) 8. Lolo Fakaosilea (Sunnybank) 9. James Tuttle (GPS) 10. Paddy James (Brothers) 11. Campbell...
