    Waratahs 2024

According to The Roar, the review of the Waratahs set-up (not just Coleman) will be run by Mike Chu, who's "High Performance Elite Education Manager" at World Rugby, and was for several years in coaching development at NZR. This seems hard to process - choosing someone with broad, relevant...

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

Because Pietsch made one glaring error, but is otherwise has a very high workrate and is always solid. Same for Edmed, as others have pointed out here, the game plan doesn't seem to play to his strengths. Harrison should be given some decent time off the bench, but he won't work miracles either.

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

There will be plenty of pressure on Pollard's lineout throws too. I hope the Wilson-Harrison axis gets some reasonable minutes.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Well, NEP would normally be able to predict their workload very accurately - adding 12 games per weekend (mens and womens) wouldn't fit that easily! So, yes, you'd expect they'd have to pick up all the Global people and assets, at least in the short term.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Did Global have their own infrastructure for broadcast, or were they already using NEP at stadiums, with Global just doing the mixing, etc? Crazy if they had their own infrastructure.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

You gotta hand it to Australian soccer - when they screw things up, they do it properly. They'll be a case study in how to burn through PE money.

Round Six: Waratahs v Rebels Friday March 29, 7:35 pm SFS

Yes, weird. I thought Wilson was being dropped to the A team to get some minutes, and perhaps build his connection with Harrison - but I would have thought this was the time to bring him back.

    Waratahs 2024

Because Tahs will be overloaded with Sualii and Kellaway arriving?

    Round 5: Drua v Waratahs - Saturday 12pm AEDT

I love the stability in team selection. I hate the font.

    Waratahs 2024

Harrison should definitely be the next option, he has the runs on the board from previously. But let's not rush him if we can possibly avoid it, he needs miles back in the legs, and confidence.

    2024 Six Nations

I've only watched the highlights of the England-France game so far, but it sounded like he was just begging the English to close the game out after their late try. I assume it was him you could hear exulting in the background of the comm box as they scored.

    2024 Six Nations

Great summary @Sword of Justice . There's been so much good watching this year. Some years it feels like the whole comp would come down to one game you could predict from months away, but this year has been so unpredictable. So much passion throughout.

    Waratahs 2024

Yes, that's where I'm at. I like the calmness and the toughness he seems to have instilled in the team. But I do think they need to look at the assistant coaches, especially around the forwards. Our best 8 are a high-quality group, but they don't seem to be great in scrum or maul. The lineout is...

    Waratahs 2024

So, four rounds in, that’s when the administrators are supposed to be making a decision on Darren Coleman - which way should they go?

Super Rugby: Rd 4, 2024. NSW Waratahs v The Auckland Blues

Not sure why Teddy's been dropped, perhaps Grant gives greater flexibility on a 6:2 bench. But yeah, Harrison should get several more weeks in the A team or Shute Shield as part of his rehab, it would be crazy to bring him straight back after such a long layoff. Edit - got my Wilsons mixed up.

    2024 Six Nations

Who's the "expert" commentator for England games on Stan? I mean, it can be hard to watch England do well at the best of times, but his commentary is an absolute punish.

    Shute Shield 2024

I don't think the top Shute Shield clubs would appreciate losing their Tahs squad talent for the whole season. They'd rather whinge about Super Rugby, all whilst the Tahs take the responsibility for training some of their best young talent.

    Australian Rugby / RA

Triston Reilly, back with the Tahs this year after playing NRL last year, reinforces the point that our squad players need more footy: “I had one my favourite years, even though the main team at Tigers only won a few games. But I played a lot of games, I played 20-odd games,” Reilly said. “In...

    Round 3: Waratahs v Highlanders - Friday 8 March 2024

Not mentioned in the injury list, so presumably that means he is available but not selected - which is good if true. He can't be rushed back, hopefully he can run up some minutes in an A game or Shute Shield first. I think Eastwood are playing Tahs A this weekend?
