Both locks played 80 min, that's really not sustainable for too long. Agree Canham has been doing really well for a rookie without any NRC prior.

Drua v Rebels @ Sunshine Coast Stadium 7.45pm AEDT, Friday 04/03

The last two years Vic rugby hasn't really gone ahead, remember we were in lockdowns for both winters when the rugby season would go ahead. Some coached have preferred players play in Brisbane or Sydney. Some have said no you can play in Melbourne, from talking with players they actually find...

I think they would be 2-1 and not 0-3

Good positive spin, I think Coleman would have been the perfect fit for Melbourne. To think the Rebels flogged the Tahs in December and where the two teams are now is mind boggling.

^^^I didn't say anything about Wells, at least his trying. His leadership needs work, think for the time being the Rebels need to take the 3 points for every kickable penalty if trailing by less then 15 points. Cause we ain't scoring trys so there is no way we are going to win a game otherwise.

I am with Rebelman, I can't defend this poor organization at all. I have missed less then 10 home games since the Rebels started, let alone been to away games against every other Australian side. Reds and Tahs multiple times. Even flown up and down to Sydney same day for those Sunday afternoon...

Hot humid and wet, that will properly suit the Rebels more the Drua. Still no idea how this one will go, should be the Rebels by 15-20 but you just don't know.

I talked to one of the dropped players today, has been a non starter. When he told me he was dropped I was a bit shocked. He said he actually does not know what more Foote wants him to do, seemed very down with the whole situation. Seems the communication from coach to players is poor, makes me...

I was happy when the government kicked Novax out of the Aus open, but any chance we can get S Timani to change his mind and come to Melbourne.

Yep, forgot about that tackle. Don't disagree on form comment, just think it's a bit of BS saying its a bad discipline record and suspending a player for a knock down. Seen a lot worse get away scot free and he misses a game for that. Surely this should be a case where the time missed on the...

What's Hodge existing discipline record? I can't remember any previous issues.

Reading everything and a lot to say Saturday was the first time I ever left a rugby game before full time, 72nd minute and went to the pub. (Should have gone straight home as it ended up taking 3 hours later on waiting for cancelled trains) 1) Foote, needs to go. 0-7 record, 6 points in 180...

Super Rugby Rnd 2: Rebels v Force

His credentials are the Rebels were to lazy to actually try and recruit a experienced coach. 0-7 record, he should be shown the door already. First two games are harder to watch then the first season of the Rebels.

Well I met my wife at a Rising game, so go for it. You never know.

Super Rugby Rnd 2: Rebels v Force

I don't think it's abandoning him, he was serviceable last week. Nothing more, if it was against the Brumbies or Tahs I don't think the would have been as well accepted. Nu'u looked good off the bench, he earnt a chance to start and if you had to choose who was better between To'omua and Gordon...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Played for House, Footscray would be the same distance. I can walk to Altona Roosters, would be close to Werribee, Sunshine and Truganina for league.

Yep, the AFL is completely athletic ability these days. There is no big full forwards etc like the old days. Even local AFL clubs had juniors back at pre-season training late last year, a lot of local cricket clubs are struggling because juniors now can't play both with training commitments...

The Rebels won that game comfortably, although I think the Tahs played a lot of young guys in that game to see how they are tracking.

Leota slight hamstring tweak a couple of weeks ago, should be right. Wells broken thumb, unknown One of the extended squad guys, full hamstring. That was about 3 weeks ago, boys having been worked extremely hard this preseason.
