    NSW AAGPS 2021

No doubt the cadet camp had a bit to do with it as they couldn't train and got straight off the bus from Singleton and into the warm up. As for the second part of your question they are a young team, not many year 12s in the mix. That didn't seem to bother them in the rowing though, the next...

Which Brumbies posters would that be?

Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

Ah yes McReight of course. He was that obvious I forgot about him!

    NSW AAGPS 2021

Just FYI, if people are wondering why there are bugger all King’s teams playing Joeys today it’s because they had to reschedule cadet camp. It was originally scheduled for that week of flooding rain last term and the army rightfully closed the Singleton base that week. Having missed it last...

Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

I think if you did 2 teams, one from the first 5 rounds and one from the last 5, they would look completely different. Valetini and Neville perhaps the only common elements. PS good job Slim

Where To For Club Rugby? The Real Third Tier.

Yes it needs to go semi pro. Using Sydney as an example, you have the top 10 clubs and they have only a first grade, reserve grade and one colts side, and they are aligned with feeder clubs the next level down. Shute Shield is still the prize. No reason why Canberra, Newcastle and Illawarra...

Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

The Force players are often difficult to include for me as like you I only pick Wallaby eligible players which rules a line through half the Force team. A similar issue with Lomani this week. However I certainly will concede that some of the ineligible players were superior to a few of my...

    Wallabies 2021

I’ve said this on other threads but there is room for both of them in the Tahs backline and possibly in time the wallabies one too

Super Rugby Rd 10 Waratahs v Rebels

I just watched the game as I was out last night, I agree with most of the comments around the Tahs being poor, but geez there is some potential there. I can see us winning at least one TT game and I reckon we will be 3rd next year. 2023 we will hold up the AU trophy.

Super Rugby Rd 10 Waratahs v Rebels

Perese could definitely be that bloke.
  12. KOB1987

    Waratahs 2021

There is room for both of them as either 10/12 or 10/15, ironically it’s then a good position to be in to work out what to do with Maddocks or Foketi. Newsome is the expendable one in the current backline though, and Tane can either stay on the bench or at Milner.

SRAU RD 10 - Force v Reds Friday 23rd April HBF Park

Wasn’t the penalty advantage given 10m the other side of half way?

SRAU RD 10 - Force v Reds Friday 23rd April HBF Park

I didn’t realise single case Covid lockdowns we’re still a thing. Maybe Twiggy can fund WA’s contact tracing program. Consequently, carn Reds!

    NZ Domestic Rugby 2021

That wasn’t a bad game for a couple of kiwi teams. Very reminiscent of Tahs v Force last week!

    Wallabies 2021

You beat me to it, although I'll add that his general play kicking has always been crap, inevitably it's down the throat of one of the back 3 and we end up 50 metres back from where he kicked it. On his day he's a great 12, but it aint for his kicking.
  17. KOB1987

Super Rugby Rd 10 Waratahs v Rebels

Says he is injured. Calf I think.

    Refereeing decisions

Dylan Hartley is a gold plated knob on a good day.

    Refereeing decisions

Correct. There's 5 potential fuck up options with that strategy - the tap, the run, the hit up, the maul and the kick. With the lineout option there was only four possibilities - the throw, the jump, the catch and the kick. It was smart thinking.
