    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

What sort of rubbish penalty was that? Where is this joke of a ref from?

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

I’m not sure we had even gone over the advantage line!

Shouldn’t be able to go back that far

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

They weren't to us die hards but we're going to watch anyway. Casual viewers who started watching at the start with some basic knowledge of the skills required (e.g. league & AFL supporters) would have tuned out after the first 20 last week. Casual viewers who tuned in after that would have...

    Wallabies 2021

Backs can certainly lose a game, but it's hard for them to win a game without the ball.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

It can certainly be done in this instance as there's no games afterwards for about a month. The odd player does do it in the RWC but the load management is more important there for the top teams as they have to survive up to 3 finals games in 15 days afterwards.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

I think that the most plausible explanation is that it was already decided that the same teams will be largely run out for the first two tests, and players knocking on the door will be given an opportunity to make their case in the third test. The quick turnaround between the second and third...

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

That’s bizarre. I was on dinner duty so it was a while in between when I started composing my reply until when I actually posted it and you basically said the same thing!

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

There should be. But every Wallaby in history has put in a Barry. Point being Rennie has picked what he thinks our best team is from the available options and he’s forgiving what some players put out on the first game day in favour of the reasons he picked them in the first place and has...

    Wallabies 2021

We will be targeting the 2027 one, so we want our average to be about 21-22. Realistically we'll want it to be about 25 in 2024 when the current rookies are the regular starters.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

He was returning from injury, and he wasn't the only poor performer, particularly in the backs. There is always a degree of rust in the Wallabies first test so it looks like he's giving every player the benefit of the doubt, at least it's a consistent approach I guess. We can call for heads if...

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

McReight has timed his entry to the foray much better than LFG, simple.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

That’s what would probably happen but I’d make Hooper and McReight co-captains, assuming Hooper is on the bench.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Until we win the Bledisloe back. The tide turns right there, whenever that is!

    Aussie Player Exodus

I’d love to have Folau back but this made me laugh.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Yeah RA had no choice but to take a low ball offer this year. At least it’s with a solid company though and if it works for Cadbury they can then leverage off that for the Lions tour in ‘25 and (hopefully) the RWC in ‘27. Bigger picture stuff, NZRU have neither of those big ticket...

    Wallabies 2021

With Maddocks leaving he should have moved back to Sydney ;). I don’t think it’s that big an issue if he’s playing 14 for the Brumbies as it’s virtually a second fullback role these days.

    Wallabies 2021

I'm happy for Wright to get a run at fly half after either 1) the Brumbies play him there, or 2) a couple of seasons at fullback in a playmaking role. I'm not opposed to the latter given that Banks hasn't stepped up any of his 11 tests. Wright may have been a fly half at school, but after a...
