    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think the current option will appeal to fans as long as we can be winning. I don’t think we need a lot of players to make that happen, but I agree the focus needs to be on retaining the future stars, not buying a lot of players back. The only foreign based players who should be bankrolled are...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Yeah fair enough. The employees are the most important parts in the system because they make it happen, but yes they need to be able to sell the product. My point was money can fix that. Fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, I’m watching this 9/11 rehash on TV. Losing a rugby game ain’t that bad. Night all.

We struggle to have any test quality players, let alone 10s. Harrison is the only one that oozes class IMO, although I’m looking forward to seeing what these Gordon brothers offer. In the meantime, JOC (James O'Connor) or Reece Hodge might not make the All Blacks if they were eligible, but they are certainly...

Yeah I get that. Did you read the rest of the post or just the bit you quoted?

Except that there’s about 4 Brumbies supporters on the whole forum.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

My understanding is that this format was the preferred one by the players and coaches, you know, the employees. I can understand the objection from the fans though. The thing that can fix things is money, if we can actually keep most of our rugby players playing rugby, in Australia, a bit of...

    Wallabies 2021

I initially had Ikitau as my 23 but he’s pretty limited position wise, and I thought the same about To'omua, so my thinking was that QC (Quade Cooper), JOC (James O'Connor) and Hodge collectively cover everything except 9. However, I agree it’s unlikely that both would be on the bench. Maybe Ikitau retains the 13 and Paisami...

    Wallabies 2021

All valid points except that I thought Swinton was pretty good today, certainly better than Flopetini. I’m starting him because he’s the future and can lock in the jersey, similar with Bell. It’s nothing against Slips, I love him, just a transitional thing in a 50/50 decision. Still reckon...

    Wallabies 2021

None at this time of year because the tests aren’t in the NH test ’window’ so they don’t count as far as WR (World Rugby) are concerned. We can run amok at the EOYT though.

You obviously weren’t around in the 90s. That era is why those of us who were live in hope!

Just out of interest how was that a 3rd string ABs? It wasn’t their strongest team but we were down as many. It was a shit performance, no objections here in that regard, but the teams were both at about 90% strength.

I’m happy to give him some AB free time. It can’t do a lot for the players’ confidence but at the same time we were shit and just played dumb rugby, that comes down to coaching. Its no secret that Cheika alienated some players at the end of his tenure, that’s not unusual. But at least he got...

Hopefully we can muscle out a couple of bonus points against the Argies, and then maybe notch up a win on the EOYT. Are we playing Italy by any chance? I’m wondering again at what point his coaching record comes into question. Yeah i know he’s played the ABs 6 times, and managed a couple of...

I’d probably keep Samu as the sub as he covers the whole back row and can train for that.
