Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2022

Fair enough, it wasn't intended as a snipe, only that I remain unconvinced and need to see more of it. But yes, credit where credit is due, he played a great game, if not player of the round then very close to it. I've put Petaia back on the wing and in a week that no #10 stood out I gave it...

Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2022

I'm not criticising your selection of him, I thought he went pretty well too. Maybe not that good though, no one else has selected him as yet.

    Waratahs 2022

Yes I couldn't help make a joke form your wording but its very encouraging to see such a good crowd today, and they are putting on some quality rugby at times which is a great thing. #reset/rebuild

Super Rugby round 4 - Waratahs vs Force - Sunday 13 March 2pm @ Leichhardt Oval

Second half was pretty ordinary but I’ll take the win. Tahs fourth on the ladder after 4 rounds. Admittedly the 3 kiwi teams below have played a game less, but still, who would have thunk.

Super Rugby round 4 - Waratahs vs Force - Sunday 13 March 2pm @ Leichhardt Oval

I don’t think there has been a straight one from either team the whole game

Super Rugby round 4 - Waratahs vs Force - Sunday 13 March 2pm @ Leichhardt Oval

I don’t think any of the Force throws have been straight, finally one gets picked ip

    Waratahs 2022

That’s not a bad crowd for a tahs match!

Round 4: Rebels vs Brumbies 11 March 7.45pm AAMI Park

He is having a great game but as BR points out the quality of the opposition needs to be considered. ;) No doubt the player of the round already though.

    What’s a TV? ;)

    Waratahs 2023

No chance, there are 4 Brumbies hookers ahead of him ;)

    Australian Rugby / RA

It's to give them game time to justify their inclusion in the squad. Even if they only get 5000 into the stadium midweek it's hard to see what the downside is, unless one of the A players picks up an injury, but that's a risk at anytime. You'd think that longer term the net benefits would far...

    Australian Rugby / RA

Yeah thats OK, it's a tour match right? Need to keep the front row fresh but you'd do something like this: 1 Robertson 2 Kaitu’u 3 Pone F (assuming fit) 4 Swain 5 Philip 6 Swinton 7 Latu 8 Samu 9 Gordon 10 Loloesio 11 Perese 12 Foketi 13 Hodge 14 Daugunu 15 Beale Bench: from within Starting...

Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2022

I have no issue with parochial bias for this exercise, people tend to watch the game involving the team they support more closely than they do the other games. At least they (we) are in most cases identifying the better player in each respective position from that game, it all gets sorted out...

Super Rugby Rd 3: Brumbies v Waratahs in Canberra

You'll notice it when he returns to the field. Point taken though, Gamble has filled the gap pretty well.
