Wallabies v Springboks II, Allianz Stadium 7:35pm 03/09/22

I need to be careful, because disappointment gets the better of me. After the England test it was into the naughty corner after expressing my frustration. Fair enough to. Ok, enough of the self flagellation. I'm 65 years old and have followed the Wallabies since I was 5. Been through the...

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

Well, you have a very well documented history of being a Brumbie fan boy who can't stand any criticism of a Brumbies player. I assumed that your unsolicited comment was because I had the temerity to be critical of Nick, a player I greatly admire, but he made a mistake that was critical. No...

who was arguing? I made my point, respectfully and politely. Isn't that what this forum is for?

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

I know Nicks a Brumbie, but the person involved with that comment isn't and is very rude, in a lot of his posts, and I don't take that shit from anyone. conversation over thank you for your input.

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

you can when he's in his own 22 under enormous pressure and the half time sirens gone. They had got out of jail, when Farrell missed the kick, and White put them back in it. Poor decision and he needs to own it or nothing is learnt.

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

Well, we seem to do pretty well with only 14 on the field so it couldn't hurt.

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

I don't know the answer to this, but, so as you say he placed the ball back over the half way, initially it was just a tackle not a ruck. When did the ruck form, before or after he placed it back?

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

yep, that's what I read. Apparently he has a history with England, or so their supporters seem to think.

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

Look, I actually agree with you, but read the BBC Sports page and the comments section there. The English supporters are convinced the Referee was against them. I guess it's the nature of the game.

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

Thats ok, the Refs and TMO's have all the time in the world to watch it in slow mo. They do it to see if a player has his laces done up all the time if it suits them.

Isn't Hanigan already in the Wallaby squad? He's covering for Holloway.

Glad it wasn't only me who saw that.

with all the rain here in Sydney, I'd be happier having Noah start if the game was here.

    Ireland NZ Tour 2022

Yeah, that's interesting, really surprised me it was played there at all. Your reduced estimate of player numbers doesn't surprise me. I think your point about the population is probably right. Thanks for the response.

    Ireland NZ Tour 2022

I was interested to read Max Hicks background and see he nearly played AFL after been chosen in NZ rep teams. I didn't realise AFL had a presence in NZ. Looking at the NZ Aussie Rules Wiki page it reckons they have 30,000 registered players. I know Wiki has a propensity to bullshit, but really?

yes, you're probably right but so long as the world has guys like you to set it right then we're all in a good place. Apologies to anyone who wasted 5 seconds of their lives reading my hasty post.

    Crusaders v Chiefs SF 10/06/22

Actually, come to think of it, you're right. An All Black centre playing in an under 6's pick up game feels the same level of tension and anxiety as they would say, playing in a Super Rugby semi-final. No way he'd throw the ball 50 meters to his right, with the line wide open and an unmarked...
