    Wallaby Fullback of the Decade

He knew it was a fair chance to happen at the time. Very courageous. Some of Burke's tries, particularly early in his career, were also freakish. Remember the try against the ABs where he picked up a spilled ball and stepped through the whole team? Burke saved us a few times as well. For me...

    Tony Dempsey gaaaaaaaaawwwwwwnnnn!

Played for Gordon, the Waratahs and might have even had a few non test games for the Wallabies. He played in the days where players had a career and his was as a lawyer. Handy flanker and in the right place at the right time when a players association was needed. To be fair to him, I think he...

    Wallabies v Wales

This is not a criticism of you MR, more an observation of all humans' failings. We consider ourselves rational, but where we are born and our environment can cause two humans to watch the same thing and see it in two different ways. Two blokes sitting together, one wearing a black jumper and one...

G&GR Wallaby of the year 2009

Smith is one of the genuine good guys. He does a lot of stuff for schools and clubs around Manly.

    Law changes in 2011?

Disagree with your pet hate. A good no.8 can clear the ball cleanly and it is a discrete no.8 skill which should be preserved. Reduce penalties and drop goals to 1 point and leave tries and conversions as is. That will help.

TYS International Test Team of the Year Nominations - Outside Backs

Only nominations at the moment. The vote comes later. Can someone please explain why they have chosen Habana? He has underwhelmed this season.

G&GR Wallaby of the Year: OZ vs Wales

Yep, I agree with Scotty. Alexander's effort was definitely a big improvement on his usual game. Robinson's more or less what you expect.

TYS International Test Team of the Year Nominations - Tight 5

TPN for hooker. What about that first half in Brisbane? Its the best I've seen any hooker play. He was the dominant player on the field. Moore starts for the Wallabies but I think that is purely because Moore wouldn't be as good as a bench player. Given both of them are going to get about half a...

    Wallabies v Wales

Thanks Gagger. Great work on the vids. I can't choose which is my favourite between the backrow and the frontrow vids. If only we had this problem after the tri-nations.

    Team of the Spring Tour

Definitely some yellow tinted glasses. Elsom, Hynes, Horwill, Gits don't deserve to be in the same room when this team is read out. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) can listen at the door but it hasn't been a vintage tour for him.

TYS International Test Team of the Year Nominations - Outside Backs

Habana hasn't had a vintage year. Heymans (for his try against the ABs at home even if he just ate pies for the rest of the year) Lee Byrne Conrad Smith - has genuinely impressed me AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) - in the Tri-Nations he was our best back playing in a variety of positions.

TYS International Test Team of the Year Nominations - Inside Backs

Thomo it is ok for the rest of us to praise players who arent from Ireland even if you can't manage it.

    Wallabies v Wales

This was probably the most dominant forward display from a Wallaby pack I have seen for a long time. It is no coincidence that Pocock and Smith turned in blinders on the back of that and makes me appreciate the work Smith did behind a losing pack for so long. The biggest concern for me is that...

TYS International Test Team of the Year Nominations - Inside Backs

    9. Mike Phillips 12. Yannick Jauzion - still a very classy operator. Phillips and FdP went hammer and tongs during the Lions series and showed us they were far and away the best 9s in the game.

What is wrong with our attack?

It would be nice for Robbie and the boys to acknowledge our help in fixing the attack. Just a thanks is all it would take.

    Team of the Spring Tour

Palu over Heaslip, Cowan over Genia, plenty of wingers over Hynes, Kearney pushing Mils, Pocock and McCaw were both close. Smith was as good in the 2nd half against Wales as Pocock was in the first half. We are incredibly lucky to have to 7s at that level.
