    Super Rugby touch rugby

Sorry fellas, I couldn't resist!! I won't be able to make it to any of those venues.

    Brumbies 2012

The poor old Brumbies won't know what's hit them. I remember they came to Wagga in 2005 to play a trial match against the Chiefs and that was too hot for them! They won't cope with Cairns at all.

Fair Dinkum - How HOT is that going to be?!?! They must be playing at 10pm.

    Brumbies 2012

    I'll have a go. I don't know enough about the bench to pick the extras. 1. Alexander 2. Moore (C) 3. Palmer 4. Kimlin 5. Power 6. Mowen 7. Hooper 8. Vaea/Auelua 9. White 10. To'omua 11. Sitauti 12. Coleman 13. McCabe/Tomane. Ideally McCabe when he returns. 14. Speight 15...

    Brumbies 2012

Those guys are all good leaders and have obviously got what it takes to lead from the front. I've never seen Moore as that sort of player, but he is a solid performer, and is a senior member in the squad. Mowen is in the same boat (even if he is the new boy) as Moore as they are both of a...

    Brumbies 2012

I've got no dramas with Mowen, he's got the skills to be a leader. My first pick would be Moore, with Lilo as VC. It'll be interesting to see who Jake appoints.

I agree. Who do you think should be captain? When you look at the playing stocks, it's Moore and daylight second. Runners up could be Lilo or Alexander. These are surely attributes you would like to see in your captain? What attributes/skills would you like to see the Brumbies 2012 Captain...

    Brumbies 2012

Surely Moore is the shoo in for the captaincy. Current Wallaby, experienced player, plays in a key position and will be first selected in his position. It's a no-brainer.

That is a truly shit jersey. Who the fuck came up with that?

    Southern Inland Rugby 2012

I haven't seen an off-season like this in the zone for a while now, so many rumours I can't stay on top of them all!! Manning Doughty from Randwick to Waratahs? Barrett brothers to coach Waratahs 2012? Jack Burey off to Randwick Colts? Jayden Stanton to Royals? Dan Selmes to Tuggies? Xavier...

Keep an eye out for Ricky down there enforcer, he's a gun. Plays halfback, fit as a fiddle and a real motivator. I doubt the other guys will leave Wagga (Louden maybe, if he gets posted there) but you never know.

    Southern Inland Rugby 2012

Following Ricky's appointment as S&C Coach at the Rebels, Wagga City are on the lookout for a new coach for 2012. Hopefully this gets sorted quickly for them and importantly, they will want to hold onto the players that Ricky had attracted to the club. Word has it that Joe Tora (Rivcoll), Aaron...

Changes to the scoring of kicks at goal to be trialled

LG, as an amateur referee, I liked the ELV's as you had the option of giving full arm penalties if short arms weren't working and then escalating to cards if the long arms weren't working either. I like the current full arm penalty better than the ELV's though because (if refereed well) they...

    Southern Inland Rugby 2012

Mmmm, I know. Good on him though, a step up the ladder from what I hear. Ricky is a Pony no more. He joins a long list of ex-Wagga based DO's who have moved on to jobs with other franchises. Some would say Wagga is the proving ground... For City, it's a real disappointment, they need someone...

    Brumbies 2012

I like him too slim, I think he was more effective than Fainga'a in the matches he played. It will be good to see who gets the gig in 2012.
