Auckland Blues vs Brumbies RD 10 2017

I didn't say they were good at it!

Sorry BH, it was meant in jest. But I cant resit asking with the opening you gave me; what form was it that got Sam Carter his top up?

Generally I agree with what your saying except when did form mean anything come Wallabies selection time.

    Brumbies 2018

I would take Hill over those 2 as HC, but I think Fisher in the development / skills / and to assist with the forwards with Palmer (as the Forwards / scrum coach) could be really good. It would make McKellar surplus to requirements. I would also keep Ryan.

    Brumbies 2018

I have been fantasying about a Cubelli / Powell, Hawera (10) and Lilo (12) backline! Add in Banks, TK, Henry, and we are close to a super combination. For depth I would still have a crack with JJH @10 as the back up. Dargavillle at either 12/13 as he always looks good in the rare chances he...

Auckland Blues vs Brumbies RD 10 2017

You have identified the same issue i believe is the key issue holding Australian teams back. Aussie rugby is so worried about making errors that play themselves out of the game. Its a mentality issue, and an issue coached and trained in to them. Aussie sides are consumed with defence and as...

Auckland Blues vs Brumbies RD 10 2017

TBH, with the attacking structures and game plan atm even the likes of Cruden and Barrett would struggle to do much better. The Brumbies are passive, slow, mostly static, rarely have support, nearly every player steps sideways first unless its just one up stuff, and they mainly go laterally...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Ah, so lets go back to my comprehension point. Some of your recent "banter": So the Canberra government is buying in sport for their public as the current offerings are not up to scratch? Still, its a crowd the Brumbies can only dream of currently. In fact, if the Brumbies pull 8500 and...

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

Unsurprising and expected. NZ crowds are generally lower than both Aussie crowds and SA crowds. It relates to their lower population which also is why their venues are smaller (Eden Park only holds 50K). Hamilton only has a population of around 160K so its smaller than Canberra.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Incorrect. Raiders are averaging above 14k a game this season. It's the Brumbies that have slipped down from their 12k to about 8K. The AFL is partially manufactured as well. The ACT Government pays the GWS $2.3mil annually to play 4 games per year in Canberra (10 year agreement).

Reds vs Waratahs - 29th April RD 10

I must say to the Reds fans who might be hurting - its actually not that bad. When 8x young blokes starting in an untested or tried combination and stick it to the Tahs first choice team with their contingent of Wallabies its an ominous sign for future if they get it together. Kudos to Stiles...

Reds vs Waratahs - 29th April RD 10

Agree. The ref may have contributed to but what an mess overall. It was almost like they were obsessed with who can be the most physical than who can actually play the game. Its like watching a Kiwi poor game in slow motion.

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

I think the Lions have shown its possible and have done it in an isolated environment back in SA. They showed that were close to the Kiwi teams but it was the lack of exposure to the Kiwi's that was the undoing (and this is part of the reason why some really want to keep Super Rugby - its key for...

    Jones bombs Israel

I think Byrne maybe partially towing the company line and / or thinking how Folau could perform if in the NZ system or can see his potential. Doesn't matter how good he is if he can't deliver it the majority of the time he on the paddock.

    Brumbies 2017

The Raiders current support level is a double edged sword both giving us hope that Canberrians have the desire and capacity to support teams, but how many supporters are left or want to support the Brumbies? The Raider have really done no more than the Brumbies on field in the last few years...

    Brumbies 2017

According to Brumbies Website Mayhew was born in Auckland and has played 11 matches for the Blues over his first two seasons in Super Rugby. The 27-year old can represent England, New Zealand and Australia due to his father being born in the UK and his late grand father in Australia.

No sorry, I chose to ignore it; its not my area of expertise, There is no intended misrepresentation. It is why I did not use the exact term nor directly addressed it. I possibly should have clarified that better or indicated that it was not a direct response to that particular criteria or that...

Plenty to see actually, just that its corporate and ACT Government accountability legislation not criminal. If your a ACT tax payer and not pissed off about the waver on the tax that cost the public millions...... Even the Canberra Times have reported that their FOI's have been...
