    Rebels 2018

Interesting considering the Top League (and all those companies behind it) have made the biggest move in the history of Japanese rugby moving the Top League season to suit the Super Rugby team and making significant changes to the way the contract and retain players to facilitate their involvement in the...

    Waratahs 2018

Actually on the culture side you can. His coaching record indicates that his systems works for about 1 season than has issues and drops off and needs changes to reignite it. His success also seem to rely on who he brings in to assist him.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

    Fixed.

    Waratahs 2017

^^^^ Its called a sense of entitlement. It very strong in the Tahs on many level but it also extends to other teams. Usually when you have poor performances you have the Coach and captains held accountable then look towards the CEO or the like for the resolution. Aussie rugby too is rife...

Forward Passes - no longer an infringement?

Most of this simply comes back to tightening up the refereeing. It pisses me off that its all so hard when its really not. All of the above are in the law book and it all occurs because referees wont / cant blow the whistle at the right time. IMHO is stems from the "let the game run" mantra...

Forward Passes - no longer an infringement?

The reality is we the spectators are way out of depth with this one. Its unlikely we as untrained inexperience practitioners of the laws of rugby will ever get close to understanding the complexity of a forward pass. IRB laws are inherently complex. The Law (law 12) is clear. Forward means...

    Brumbies 2018

Now this goes back to the question are the Super Rugby franchise there to service Aussie rugby or win for themselves? The old schools will tend to say the former, for country but most of those are from the bigger and topped up franchises. If Aussie rugby was structured in a centralised pro-Aussie...

As a 10 I think so. Also had a lot of injuries from what I hear.

    Brumbies 2018

Aren't these the reason that the likes of Folau and Foley should nver have been given be on flexi-contracts by the ARU and also why the 60 caps away from everything and return a few weeks (at best) before a test match idea also is idiotic?

    BLK Goooone

Um - no. That would be really bad, have you seen the Brumbies play? It hard enough trying to stay awake watching them crawl through each set play on a good day so add in some comfort it would be impossible to stay awake for a whole game even on the odd weeks that mange to limp to a win. :D

    Chiefs v Brumbies in Hamilton - 15/07/17

Yeah, I am not convinced its a smart move especially coming off a long break, having a week on then the next off before going in to a playoff. If there is a positive to this its that it appears that a lot of guys will get a run who would normally be left out. I am uncomfortable with it and...

    Chiefs v Brumbies in Hamilton - 15/07/17

Possibly no Banks. Just three players will be backing up from the loss to the Queensland Reds last weekend as Larkham keeps one eye on a home quarter-final next weekend and wraps players in cotton wool. Scott Fardy, Wharenui Hawera and Henry Speight will keep their place in the starting XV...

    Brumbies 2018

What has the abilities of players have to do with having a level playing field contractually? As for value of players thats a subjective argument. The ARU top ups and special deals has in part created the issues. This is no different to any employer faces nowadays. Someone can always make...

    Brumbies 2018

Yeah, nah. It's the equivalent to a have your cake and eat it thing. Why not if they are important to a Soup team. They may have more than earned it performance wise but not be on the pets list. No one person should be bigger. If you want the Jersey stay. If you want the money then go.you...

    Brumbies 2018

Another backrower would be nice but he needs to be one that suits what we need more than a name or reputation. The backs ironically are a legacy issue from this year and the previous year. They need to decide what to do with JJH and I still think test him @10. They need to start playing Jooste...

Maybe they should have got cyclopath to help out with the disposal. Crimestoppers told me he's pretty good at it. Surgical procision like was the way they described his work. (no reward - I checked)
