    NSW AAGPS 2024

As a Kings supporter I've been impressed with their form coming from a relatively low base after the highs of last year. I think the coaches have made this a development year with a lot of year 11's and 10's in the Opens squad - probably on par with their year 12 peers in some instances but more...

lol as soon as I say that. Waverley midfield scrum, their backs run around Kings to score in corner. Exactly what New did last week. Kings backs defence off scrums a work in progress. FT 38-24 or thereabouts

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Waverley 12 yellow (their best player). Kings have run in a few more think about 38-19. Forwards definitely Kings strength, limiting opponents backs chance to attack through backs

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Waverley 8 off with a blue card. Might be turning point, Kings score 20m rolling maul try. 24-19 Kings

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Waverley kick their third penalty goal (yawn it’s a trial) and Kings hit straight back. 19 -19

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Waverley up 16-12 over Kings HT. scrappy, some pace in Waverley backs

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Kings v Waverley Waverley got up in most of the junior A games aside from 15s. last years GPS winning 15s team got pumped in the 16s, at least 5 playing up in Opens Kings dominated lower Opens games and had close wins in 2s and 3s. 1s just started with Kings up 5-3 after 15.

Has anyone not affiliated with Shore tipped them? I’m on the canary yellow kiddo’s this year, even with a couple of key players injured.

There’s a smattering across several of our illustrious schools, including those adamant triangle playing ability is not supported. Add in Augs and you’d have most schools in the same bucket.

And this is after the GPS schools have already thinned their ranks.

ISA thread gives the boys from Castle Hill the W 19-17, great outcome for them.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

FT 19-0. Will give Kings the benefit of the doubt re fatigue but New were looking more dangerous out wide the longer that went. on first viewing don’t expect either to push the top of the ladder when comp starts. Kings definitely don’t have the surplus of talent in backs and forwards from ‘23...

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Kings defensive patterns ok in open play but they’re getting exposed off scrums in the midfield.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Game meandering. Mid field scrum 50m out, another mid field back move well executed and poor defence sees New in again. 19-0.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

New then run 70m from behind their own try line. Kings turnover then New score from charge down. Bit scrappy, New pacier out wide 12-0 New

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Kings win two 5m lineouts on New line but New shut them down comfortably
  19. B

    NSW AAGPS 2024

New simple backline move from scrum 25 out score in corner. Kings midfield defence likely to be targeted. conversion missed 5-0

    NSW AAGPS 2024

New much more direct. Gee Luca Cleverly has put on some size. Broken the line and pulled off a nice hit already. Kings winning line outs comfortably but not doing much with it after that. Kings happy to throw around but don’t seem to have a lot of pace out wide
