Brian Smith wasn’t involved last time it was home and away, just saying.

The announcement makes more sense in the context of official and unofficial competition. Thanks for clarifying.

I don’t see how home and away can work for 1’s and 2’s only. What do you do with the age group teams during round 2? No wonder Miles N has stood down at Joeys, the sports master will need some serious logistical management skills to navigate the season now….

Thanks @ Joker. Loads of interesting data here. Joeys 15A’s is a great team, at least 9 or 10 players are in the U15 Gen Blue extended squad. Based on results and differentials in 1, 2 and 16’s then next year will be super close again. Will any single team manage to pull ahead. Scots should...

it wasn’t even Joeys 15B’s that played Scot’s (it was the C’s or D’s) B’s played Knox A’s that day.

A very good footballer, strong competitor. When I watch him play I think he looks like he could be a world class half back in the mould of the 4th back rower general (if he can pass). I think he would struggle to make it as a back rower beyond school.

Excellent advice, A move at this time does seem unlikely, although league could be a good option for him. Either that or a move to half back.

Is he a great coach? Most of (all of) his success came close to the start of his tenure, the foundations would have been built a number of years earlier.

Who are these 5 NSW players? I don’t recall many barker names in Gen Blue

If you want to apply this logic, then, Joeys beat Knox fairly easily playing the cavalier style they played against Barker (without Fowler or Sharples). Knox had a narrow loss to Barker. Ergo, Joeys would smash Barker. A bit like the way they smashed View last Saturday.

both good players. Union purists will prefer Fowler. That is all.

    NSW AAGPS 2022

They didn’t face off for the whole half. Fowler was on his first game back from a full shoulder reconstruction and he was concussed after about 10 minutes. He played on for a bit before the coaches realised what was going on and took him off about 10 minutes before half time. Apart from 13 who...
