    NSW AAGPS 2024

Of all the really dumb things RA is doing, this is right at the top of the list. Imagine fixing your mindset on who the best 17 and 18 year olds are based on last season. Other than the select group based on form last year, no one has played a game yet this year. The games this team will play...

Best feedback - Predicting these teams, before a shot has been fired, based on 12 month old form, for 16 / 17 year old footballers, is a fool’s errand. If selectors are even contemplating teams yet, they are doing it wrong.

Nah, Joeys doesn’t play favourites and is prepared to give lads who are having a crack a fair chance. The boy promoted really stood out in his trial and backed that up with high energy when he got a chance later in the 1’s.

The score is worth tracking, it just isn’t much of an indicator.

    40-5 I believe

Heinz could play either or, junior rugby was in the centres. More recently in the back row. I can’t add value beyond that.

    Definitely not the finished product.

Barker 10 and 15 are fantastic. Lots of cobwebs in the Joeys team - Looking forward to a handful on injured player for Joeys returning. To be fair, Joeys trialled a lot more players (the 2nds played the entire final 20 after completing full games prior). Barker depth is a concern, given the...

The change probably won’t be permanent either. Fowler will return to play in a few weeks. Young Smith is good but shouldn’t be rushed, vs Barker this weekend is probably a good chance to see how he goes.

Don’t be silly. Scots is the most humble school.

Most hated for most…. Interesting use of the English language. (In the context of rugby) I’d say Joeys is the school that most others are jealous of, it’s certainly the school that all others are desperate to beat. I reckon that is respect though, not hatred.

It’s back, behave everyone. School boys, remember, the HSC is important too, don’t be derelict in your commitment to study. There will no point being band 6 in AAGPS rugby shenanigans if you fail English.

harassing the mods is a pretty good way to get the ban extended. Aren’t the half year exams on anyway, shouldn’t your focus be there?

    U16 schoolboy rugby

I doubt Joeys will promote any 16’s to opens this year.

They didn’t, even if they did, Finn Russell doesn’t live in Wales so training there with him would be quite the feat.

Wh Why did he go to Wales to train with Finn Russell? Was he lonely?

Hil Hilarious, Knox really should not be critical of Barker for that crime. They are as bad or worse.

I thought that they would have a better forward pack than this.

I don’t doubt that you were in the conversation. A lot of people like to pump their own tyres, I have heard a number of helicopter dads claim their son was offered a scholarship to school x but didn’t take it. In the case of Joeys they didn’t take it because it didn’t exist.
