Have a bit more faith! Law 22 is complex but states quite clearly if the ball is knocked on in the field of play, it hasn't been taken over by either team therefore you play the scrum if it's grounded.

I'd be tempted to threaten for the draw in that scenario. I might be the minority though. Anyone think they took the experienced players off too early? I know you've got to give your young guys game time, but maybe chuck them in the outside backs?

Waratahs really need to just take the points in those situations. If you need a 7 pointer then leave it to the end.
