Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

I love this. Get 30cm over the gainline and you're an excellent forward. Get over the gain line constantly and often by about 20m and you're rubbish. Higgers is a pretty good lineout option too.

    Brumbies 2012

Has there been anything the Brumbies have done which has displeased you?

    Brumbies 2012

Yes, but after wanting a better deal from the Tahs (which they didn't give him). You don't need to be so defensive.

Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

Are you sure you're not confusing tries with disappointment?

And that way he doesn't have to compete with fan-favourite Scott Higginbotham for 6. Still think Mowen, Hooper, Vaea at 678 is the way to go though. Then again I haven't coached a world cup winning team.

Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

It's because the Queensland Reds do not want to sink to the level of the waratahs, so were deflected from the banner. The Waratahs wish to emulate the Reds and so were attracted to their banner. Yep, definitely.

    Brumbies 2012

The Brumbies do kind of have that "feeling", at least form my perspective. I'm expecting them to knock off one or two big teams at the least.

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/hottest-male-athletes-gallery-1.26616#ixzz0g51oEZkH AND they won the comp. A trifecta of amazing achievements by the Queensland Reds!

Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

So it's 5 points for a try, 2 points for a conversion, 3 points for penalties and dropgoals and how many for a scrum? Zero? Are you sure? Nice looking platform, shame they never do enough with it. Fortunately for Queensland their set piece deficiencies are made up by coaching, team-play, more...

    Brumbies 2012

Not exactly a swinging voter hey. I think it's a good move in a way, and the reason why is well illustrated by Giteau's tweet. The Brumbies were hamstrung by the player power status quo last year. New blood is good.

    Rebels 2012

That's excellent news about the first half team! I'm sensing a stronger overall Aussie conference this year.

    Reds v Brumbies Trial Match - Cairns - 11 Feb 2012

Not if most people are discussing it as a long term possibility. But seriously, if you're going to pollute every Brumbries thread with your over-hyping and snide remarka it's a bit hypocritical to criticise people for rationally discussing a legitimate prospect for Aus rugby.

    Reds v Brumbies Trial Match - Cairns - 11 Feb 2012

I don't think Gill will challenge Bam this year, however having the option is always good.

    Reds v Brumbies Trial Match - Cairns - 11 Feb 2012

I'm looking forward to many tag team displays from Beau and Gill this year, hopefully beginning with this trial. Anyone remember the Wales test from 2009 where the first half was Pocock and the second half was George and they both put on openside masterclasses? Well, it won't be as good as...
