    RWC 2011 SF1 - Wales v France

Brave performance by Wales, but I can't say either side looked like World Champions. Congratulations France, looks like they needed the loss to Tonga.

Pathetic dive by Clerc. Ref calls play on.

    Wales in! Brilliant from Phillips

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

Can you see how the term "excessive raking", which you appear to have invented, is just a euphemism? It implies that raking the face across the eyes is ok, Schalk just did it too much. How much raking could he have done for it to not be "excessive". For mine, I could care less whether he was...

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

Horwill et all have been burnt underestimating Cruden once already this season.

Exactly, how well would SA have gone with 1 red card and two potential yellows.

Say It Ain't So!!! McCaw may be GONE...

Yeah, it's a bit of a non-issue to me considering they actually haven't broken any rules.

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

It's not unrelated at all if you're saying the ref cost you the game. Missed opportunities lost you the game, simple as that. One of the try-saving tackles not made or a couple of balls not dropped and you would have won - Bryce Lawrence and all. If SA's ball wasn't slowed down who's to say you...

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

I'd be interested to see a Scarfman-style video on Pocock from this game. I'd like to revisit and see how much hysteria is justified and how much is a coping mechanism. In all the media shots at Bryce it's insinuated he missed nothing from South Africa - despite video footage of a repeated...

No matter how many of those you find, the fact of the matter is you should have had a player red-carded then banned for at least 30 weeks for eye-gouging. I think if one were to go through this, or really most, game with a fine-tooth comb they'd find the ledger is pretty even.

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

He defends and counter-attacks from there in basically every game he plays. He also went to fullback against Russia and South Africa when Barnes was on. For mine, it kind of gave us the benefit of having dual-playmakers AND having a crash-ball center. I remember against Russia some of our best...

    RWC QF2: England v France (W Pool B v RU Pool A)

An Englishman, an Irishman and a South African walk into a bar. Must have been in the departure lounge.

    Has Burger been cited?

Provide some evidence and we'll discuss it. So far we've seen footage of Vickerman and Samo and in both cases arms were involved. Regardless, what's your point? Would Australia have had to play an infringement free game for us to discuss a blatant, repeated eye-gouge attempt? This thread is...

He tried to clear someone out of a ruck? Were the police notified?

    Has Burger been cited?

To be fair Blue, the end-result of the game and how well supporters reacted to it is a separate issue to an eye-gouging incident by a previous offender. Win, lose or draw there's no place for this stuff in rugby. Anyway, I'm just waiting for the "but Jerry Collins liked to have a beer with...

    RWC 2011 SF1 - Wales v France

I was just light-heartedly balancing the Welsh enthusiasm. I think both players are excellent... But just that Pocock is a little more excellent and I'd love to see that tested in a game.

    RWC 2011 SF1 - Wales v France

I hope Wales do win, so Pocock can crush the "Warburton" rumours.

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

    I think the team will be: 15. Kurtley Beale 14. JOC (James O'Connor) 13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 12. McCabe 11. Digby 10. Cooper 9. Genia 8. Samo 7. Pocock 6. Elsom 5. Vickerman 4. Horwill 3. Alexander 2. Moore 1. Kepu 16. TPN 17. Slipper 18. Sharpe 19. McCalman 20. Burgess 21. Barnes 22. Horne Probably pretty close to what I'd...

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

Wasn't a lot of Bok momentum also stopped by unforced errors? I think both teams had a few lucky calls go for and against them. I can see why people are frustrated though, I think the whole of SA might have a case of blue balls today.

Did you read the article? Bryce wasn't quoted or interviewed by the press... It referred to a letter sent from Aus the IRB and their response.
