Take Captaincy off Elsom: Tim Horan (Foxsports article)

I agree. How can he be the form 6?

Take Captaincy off Elsom: Tim Horan (Foxsports article)

Missing 11 rounds of rugby isn't a good look. I agree with Horan, scope out our options. Can we attach a poll to this thread?

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

    I concur.

    Reds 2011

I'm compelled to agree with you again: just go with it ;) . I'd be very pleased if Sharpe, Horwill, Simmons and Douglas were all picked in the Wallabies squad at the end of the Super season. I'd wager that Sharpe and Horwill are the current incumbents, with Simmons and Douglas being the heirs...

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

I've gotta agree with Ruggo here. Slipper is a good scrummager and is good around the park. I completely agree that the best scrummaging props should be picked, and with Slipper you get the best of both worlds.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

Famous last words; this quote will be interesting to come back to later in the season.

Reddy!, Simmons is world class? Even for you that's a hefty call.

Players of the Match - Ponies v Tahs

Tah's: 3. Mowen 2. Palu 1. Cross I thought that Cross did well when the Tah's were in defense on a number of occasions; I distinctly remember him starting two counter-rucks that led to turnovers. Pretty useless in attack though. T-Money is progressing, which is encouraging to see. Cliffy...

    Wallaby Outside Centre

I like Lachie Turner, but really his international career has been flaky to solid, never spectacular. He's still young, though. And he's still pretty damn quick.

Rebel Army vs GAGR - Sydney Touch Game

7.40? Will you be starting or on the bench, barbar?

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

I thought this game was pretty good. Both teams did try throwing the ball around, but the defense from both sides was pretty strong. I didn't really enjoy the first half period where both teams were opting for the kick at goal each opportunity, but it was a tight game. And it was always going...

    Rebels MOM v the Horrorcanes

They take some time to be fully updated. Watch that space.

    Message To Warren Gatland

I'm going to tip Delve to be Wales' Rocky Elsom. Awesome form down here, then years of falling short of the height of the bar he set.

Rebel Army vs GAGR - Sydney Touch Game

Hmm I dunno. It's at the SFS, I usually don't go to those games. But I am keen to meet the chaps. Alright, you've convinced me RF, I'm in.

Rebel Army vs GAGR - Sydney Touch Game

Instead of playing the ball between your legs, go to ground and lay it back. Then the halfback can meerkat as much as they desire. Also, you can pilfer the ball until a defending player touches you. Ruck defenders can only touch (clean out) one player. Tried a similar rule set to these once...

    Is that you, Ben Alexander?

    Palu

Okey doke, I'm jumping on the Vaea for Wallabies squad train. Even if he doesn't make the 22, Wallabies camp experience would be a great leg up for him. Houston is playing well for the Reds but he's not smashing his opponents for the Wobs 8 jersey.

    Hickey's future

Mitchell to first reciever, or Beale. Actually, if slow ball comes in the opposition half, Barnes kicking shell isn't that bad. When the Tahs are in front his drop goals are handy.

Matt Burke's article in the SMH on the Waratahs

Yeah, I wish we had an ancient victory to boast about. Maybe we would sound less miserable.

The Size of our Aussie Forwards

Cast your thoughts back to 2008- Robbie Deans first game against the AB's in Sydney, where the Wallabies won convincingly. I rewatched the first half of this game this week, and it was as though the teams had switched jerseys. The sheer ferocity of the Wallabies forwards was stunning, the way...
