    Rebels 2020

The props are fine, none of them are screaming out as international class but a few are proven super rugby performers. Second row depth and the backrow are potential issues. 1. Gibbon 2. Aussie Player Exodus

In fairness to Koroibete, if you add his league years, he has lived in Australia for 8 years. That’s almost half of Jordan Petaia’s life haha

    Aussies Abroad Best XV

Has that been officially announced? Perhaps it’s another Koroibete situation. All Australian 2019 contracts have officially ended and the European season is full into the swing of things.

    Aussies Abroad Best XV

Thought I’d update this thread with what I believe is the best options available overseas that are Aus qualified 1 ????? 2 Hanson 3 Kepu 4 Skelton 5 Arnold 6 Fardy 7 Gill 8 McMahon 9 Genia 10 Holmes 11 Naiyaravoro 12 Kerevi 13 Godwin 14 Betham 15 Morahan Zack Holmes has been an absolute star...

    Rebels 2020

Well done Marika. Amazing international season. Did anyone see the list of young SA players signed for overseas clubs straight out of school? There was a few that were listed as been signed by the rebels. Anyone have any context? Reg has the list on his Twitter.

    NRC onwards and upwards

It’s why I prefer the model of using the Reds and Tahs names, the other QLD and NSW teams could be used to harbor support from those pro club rugby. The Reds and Tahs teams can build continuity into the next season (minus their wallabies players) and the club representative teams can be a...

    NRC onwards and upwards

Yep definitely another concern. The proposed representative Melbourne and WA sides in the article that has generated the discussion would also wipe the floor with any SS or Prems team. We have just seen the Force dominate the NRC and the Rising team which was kinda ‘that representative side’...

    NRC onwards and upwards

My other concern with including club teams into a national championship is the creation of the haves and have nots. The Randwicks, Sydney Uni’s of the world will draw all the talented players from the less resourced teams such as Southern Districts. It will lead to more 70+ score lines during...

    NRC onwards and upwards

Although not the same as inclusion in Super Rugby, it’d at least make our brothers in WA feel a little closer to the Australian rugby family than is currently happening. But perhaps Nedlands vs GPS on a wet Sunday afternoon played on a mud paddock infront of 50 people is more appealing.

Reds Rebels Tahs Force Brumbies Drua Sydney (Shute Shield representative) Brisbane (Prems representative) *Reds and Tahs push their brands to the regional areas leaving Bris and Syd to have the capital city market and appeal to the club base) Could easily have a great build up to an all Shute...

    World Player of the Year?

Realistically I think it’s out of Savea, AWJ and PSDT. I’d go PSDT.

    Expanded Rugby Championship

5 game RC and 2 extra Bledisloes is the same to what currently happens, which is 6 RC games and 1 extra Bledisloe. I’d prefer 5 RC games and the unpredictability the schedule offers, which will result in more winners of the cup overall depending on who gets 3 home games and who gets 2 on each...

Maddocks is only 22, he’s still got plenty of time to develop.

    Rebels 2020

Not sure what’s going on with Abel, I know he was talking to Auckland towards during the season. He’s had a good couple of years at NPC level so would seem a good mix. Vailanu might end up being no.3 rake. Disappointed to lose Roach, he’s very underrated and the perfect bench hooker with his...

    Proposed Nations Championship

I have no interest in seeing someone who’s been heavily apart of a program over a season or more been able to transition. It should be in place for people like big Taqele to transition. It’s possible for people to be apart of a program for 3-4 years and only get 20 caps, those people in my eyes...

    Proposed Nations Championship

I’d also want a limit on caps people have and if they could switch. Maybe under 10 caps, however if you have over 10 caps you can’t switch.

    Brumbies 2020

Kata is a talent and a half. Kerevi style wrecking ball, however can have brain farts galore and won’t have a rounded game beyond the bosh. Will draw a lot of attention in attack and drag opposition players into contact just to get him down. Worth the gamble
