    Highlanders to go green?

MAYBE it's because you're in Queensland? MAYBE!?

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

    Agreed.

    Reds vs Brumbies, 2011R16

Interesting to note that the Force are the only side in the competition not to get the Try Bonus Point. Brumbies have got it twice.

    Highlanders to go green?

The idea is people will buy the jersey. If it's just the normal jersey with an extra logo, who's going to want that in addition to their jersey?

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Ooooooooh, I see. So it isn't Anthony Fainga'a's fault, it's Matt Giteau's fault!

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Yeah yeah, very droll Reg. What an outstanding Test career he's had.

the number 12 that the waratahs is looking for.

I'm not really sure who I'd prefer to see at 12 for the Tahs. The injuries now mean that choosing the Tahs backline is like one of those sliding tile puzzles. Barnes could do it, Hangers could probably do it. One option that's bound to be unpopular is Beale doing it, which I think should...

    Highlanders to go green?

    Yeah, fuck the charities.

Force fans may beg to differ.

the number 12 that the waratahs is looking for.

I'm pretty sure by "second playmaker" he meant "second playmaker". I think one of the main reasons the Tahs kick so much is that when they do run it, their plays are all basically one pass plays. Very very limiting. Think about it; who in the side is a ball player and not a ball runner...

    S. Fainga'a? ;)

    Sharks v. Tahs - 2011R15

What about cross-field kicks (Round 1, Mitchell try vs Rebels) or chip kicks (Cross try, vs Lions), Bruce?

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

I was impressed that he seemed to have the same effectiveness at 13 that he has at 12, show's that he's developing utility value. With regards to A. Fainga'a, I'm on the fence now. He could be a stabilising influence, a badly needed straightener in the Wallaby backline. He could also get...

Playing 1 Test against Samoa is not making a concept that I (DPK) theorised a priority. Also, the Test can serve for both purposes (Regional rugby/RWC Dev.). Playing the Argies could also be a taster for their addition to the Tri Nations.

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Yeah RH, I've gotta agree with Godfrey on this one. Playing the Samoans is more about regional rugby development responsibilities than just developing our own team. That said, we should probably be playing Argentina. They don't have a single warm up Test before the RWC.

Samo and Robinson are playing like madmen. Hope they can pace themselves, they're the difference at the moment.

    Sharks v. Tahs - 2011R15

I've practiced this before, and that was in schoolboy rugby. It is quite easy to accidentally slip onto the neck, but it's easy to let go of the bloke.

    Highlanders to go green?

The Force could get a pretty sick black jersey, using yellow as the secondary colour. Not too many teams using black, Shorks and Canes is it I think.

    That's the ballgame, folks.
