Can't wait for the next "Fight of the Century" at Death Valley this Saturday. All it needs now is dear old Gordon Bray talking about the Ref being "the 34 year old amateur marbles player from Wagga Wagga".

The Knox teams had a tough workout against Christchurch Boys' High, currently rated number 4 in NZ and best in the South Island. Don't have the scores, but they won the 16as and lost in the 1sts and 2nds. They also sat in on a Crusaders training session and attended the Crusaders vs Highlanders...

1995 was the freak year for Knox, with 5 players in the NSW 1sts, and 3 in the 2nds. They famously beat Barker 62 - 0.

It's a pity they don't play many trial matches anymore. The benchmark when I was at school was always to beat or get close to Joeys

Last time CAS prevailed was 2009, when they had a strong team including Nic Stirzaker and Tom Kingston and won 33-31. 2nds also close, 26-20 to GPS. Unlikely these days until Scots and New run out of money

There were 9 schools in GPS last time I counted. Are you saying that players from Grammar, High and TAS aren't eligible for GPS representation?

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2013

That's why GPS "flogged" CAS 29-14. 9 schools vs 6
