Interesting response from Vlandys with suggestions of salary cap dispensation for clubs signing rugby players ARL Commission chairman Peter V’landys (the horse racing guy) wants NRL clubs to actively target Wallabies stars – and they will be given a financial incentive to do so. V’landys (the horse racing guy) has revealed an audacious...

    Wallabies 2023

Not sure why. Unlike Katoa, league was his first sport. He played league from Under 8s and continued all the way through High School and into the professional ranks and his first exposure to Rugby and AFL is a 3 day representative carnival at the end of primary school it would suggest you were a...

Word is he could dunk in Year 7 and played firsts basketball, just a freak whatever the sport.

    Wallabies 2023

Sua'ali'i grew up playing league for Glenmore Park Brumbies from under 8s, he made the PSSA (Primary School Rep) in a number of sports including AFL, League, Basketball and Rugby. He was spotted here by Kings he started playing regular rugby at school and then played for Eastwood at 14. He was...

Could have said exactly the same about Sua'ali'i before he signed.

    Wallabies 2023

I think there is little chance he would have been offered 1.6 - 1.8 mil in League. Even a desperate club overpaying would be lucky to hit a million for him. He hasn't established himself yet and definitely not as a fullback which is his only chance to earn a million. Considering Cleary is the...

I have no doubt Jorgenson will be the WB 15 at the 2027 RWC. I think he will be more valuable to the national set up than Sua'ali'i. I just think this year will be too soon to throw him to the wolves as a starter at international level in a RWC.

The lineout has been working well. Picked off a few of the brums so far

Like Sua'ali'i? No experience playing rugby before his 4 years playing rugby at Kings.

    NSW AAGPS 2023

I love the rhetoric that they are correcting errors after letting them go in the first place, but wouldn't it make sense not to let the current ones leave and create the recurring cycle of having to overpay for the current school leavers in another 2/3 years time? That 1.6 mil would have easily...

    Australian Rugby / RA

Being an avid watcher of GPS rugby for a number of years, Jorgensen was a far superior player at FB for Joeys than Sua'ali'i was at Kings in their time playing 1st XV. It seems like an extraordinary amount of money for a kid who played 5 years of rugby while at Kings.

    Brumbies v Moana 7.35pm 18/3/23

I still think Campbell is a far better option at fullback for the Reds. Petaia wasn't great at all last week until moved to the wing. 4 dropped balls and 2 runs for 9m at half time at the back. Vunivalu came off at the 50th minute Campbell to fullback and Petaia then scores 2 pops up all over...

Round 4: Hurricanes v Waratahs, Friday 17th March

100% agree. He was outstanding. Really the only Tahs player to step up to the level. Becoming irresistible for the RWC. A Gleeson, Valetini 6/8 combo is pretty scary.

    Reds v Brumbies - Take 1

I thought Petaia struggled at 15 with the drops and lack of involvement. moved onto the wing scored 2 and has looked far better, Campbell just more assured at the back. Vunivalu the odd man out for mine
