    NSW AAGPS 2024

Darcy Emmett is the new hooker in year 11. He is from Newcastle way. Played in the Waratahs 16s last year with Large. who is Heinz Lemoto?

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Since when does this come into GPS selections? Bassingthwaite is signed with the Roosters. Fittler (Roosters) and LeMaitre (Souths) were both selected this year, while under contract with their clubs. for what it's worth I'd go 9. Grover 10. Rodwell 11. Makasini 12. Large 13. Fittler 14...

    NSW AAGPS 2024

You can also add Iliyaz Viliamu (New), Ashton Large (Scots) and Justice Taumoepeau (joeys) who will be the first one picked.

    Wallabies 2024

This has to end soon. The SMH article says: Sources with knowledge of Jones’s contract have told this masthead that if RA parted ways with the coach in the first quarter of next year, it would carry a smaller financial cost. My gut is he wants the payout so he can then announce he is taking...

    Wallabies 2024

So his representatives have now contacted RA suggesting he is open to leaving with a payout .... who would have thought it? The guy couldn't lie straight in bed. Played them since day 1

    CAS Rugby 2024

I wouldn't be surprised to see Casswell at 15 for Knox and CAS. Lightning speed

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

BR I haven't seen the Brumbies 19s play, is Staniforth as good as his stats suggest (2nd in the comp for tries, carries, clean breaks, metres gained and 3rd for defenders beaten) or simply a beneficiary of what sounds like an excellent backline?

Make them take McLennan as part of any deal

Sam Polley is also 2025 class unfortunately

    ISA 2023

It is a much different spread. Yes, no Joeys but the best 15 yo Justice from Joeys is playing up an age in the Tahs 16s and would have been a walk-up starter

    League Targets

Really? A quick Google search and Mclennan came out in an interview and said Crichton was on their hitlist back in April. As Eastman pointed out he was rabbiting on about how his wife knows his Dad since they were both 5...

    League Targets

The whole Crichton thing stinks of another massive f#@k up by RA. Mclennan has been publicly courting Crichton since the Sua'ali'i signing, name-dropping him several times in the media and saying they had more than enough money to sign him. Sounds like the state unions are turning the blow torch on...

    League Targets

Crichton has good footwork, a great offload, strength and strong defensively. Much like Kerevi (and Sua'ali'i) he has had a mediocre 2023, but I think that is 1. A by-product of the Rooster's poor play across the board this year and 2. his lack of pre-season with off-field mental health issues...

    NSW AAGPS 2024

I don't believe that NRL clubs fund players to attend GPS Schools. The disparity between schools that do and don't have future NRL players (elite schoolboy league players) is the different ideology to supply those things that aren't mentioned. NRL clubs can't contract a player until 15, a large...

Le Maitre has left the Bunnies to concentrate on rugby.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

I get the strategic nature of the competition and schools moving athletes into different age groups for the points (well done Scots) although it would have been good to see Blair, Avati and Large all run against each other in the 100m considering there was only a 0.05 difference between the trio.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

The 17 yrs 100m Championship race was Mclean v Large, with Large racing up a year. Not much in it Large 1st in 10.93 Mclean 2nd in 11.1

Agree on Onitoni in the 1s. I'd also have Makasini (N) ahead of Gow (S) and also Grover (I) in the 1s. Humphries (N) finished the year in the 2s for Newington and given their final position on the ladder it doesn't bode well for next year particularly if they continue with Rodwell (N) at 10.

Interesting that Joe Walsh as a 17yo this year made the 19s squad
