Ok, although my predictions for last week were not that great......... ACGS vs TSS: Should be close, but maybe not. Southport should have a better all round team and should take it. I think most of the schools have figured out that Churchie overly rely on their inside backs and will now focus...

I would not be surprised if GT beat BBC this weekend and throw their hat into the ring as contenders for the title.

Agreed. I think Terrace will definitely fancy their chances and shouldn't be considered underdogs at home.

Sounds like a great weekend of footy. So much for my tips. We all know there are scholarships and such and it's pretty darn difficult now days to be successful without them but let's not talk to much about them in this thread. I would rather know who played well, who scored, injuries.... Etc.

My tips for the weekend NC vs TSS. I think Southport comfortably. They are well rested and choc-a-block with talent. I kind of agree with previous posters that NC is a little spent already and I think the churchie touch up may really have really hurt their confidence. TSS by 15 IGS vs BSHS...

Just found this. And yes I am an old boy. Anybody else found any good videos for this years comp. As I live overseas its the only way I can check out the teams and attempt to vicariously relive my youth :) Hoping for a real cracker of a game between ACGS and BBC this Saturday.

I think it is also the context of the articles. If somebody is simply listing the line-ups and mentioning new players to the program, then naming is unavoidable. But if someone is focusing the article on the wrongs and rights of a particular program then the boys names should perhaps be avoided...

I know I haven't been around on this thread very long, but IMO the naming of schoolboys in articles that are strictly "scholarship related" (this is where it could tricky) should be avoided. As you said people will probably be able to work it out anyway. Also, in no way have the students...
