    Round 6: Reds v. Hurricanes, April 1st

That's more like the Reds we know! Fumbles, missed tackles, soft tries.

    Round 6: Reds v. Hurricanes, April 1st

Making the Canes kick for points to get more than 7 out is a small victory in itself.

    Round 6: Reds v. Hurricanes, April 1st

Not something I've said much this season, but bloody good job Reds.

    Round 6: Reds v. Hurricanes, April 1st

Reds throwing offloads, passes sticking, unstructured play, WTF just happened? It's like the Canes have a virus and the Reds have caught it?!

RD 6 2017: The Auckland Blues VS The Western Force.

Sydney Uni, NRC and then ITM Cup, according to Google. I'm liking him too, he's pretty mobile but also got some physicality in tight. It's guys like him who we'll lose if we drop a team because they'll be stuck in club or NRC at best. Also really liking what Naisarani brings because that sort...

RD 6 2017: The Auckland Blues VS The Western Force.

Disappointing overall, once again the Kiwi team convert their chances and the Aussie team squander theirs. Get the feeling the Force could have won that. Bloody good break by Matt Phillip to finish though. Steps a back and puts DHP through.

RD 6 2017: The Auckland Blues VS The Western Force.

Naisarani really needs to watch his discipline, isn't that two YCs in two weeks? He's doing some amazing work around the field, making lots of tackles, powerful runs, good breakdown work, then blows it with silly penalties and YCs.

The news just keeps getting better..? Who will be reserve THP then?

    Round 6: Reds v. Hurricanes, April 1st

As requested by Comrade WOB our spies have obtained this footage of the Fascist Snakes in a panic over their imminent destruction by the heroic Red Army. Hitler loses his shit when he finds out the Reds are going to demolish his beloved Canes You may need to enable subtitles in the bottom...

Round 5 - Jaguares v Reds, Jose Amalfitani Stadium, Sunday 26 March @ 7:40am AEST

Poor discipline. Poor choices. But above all, poor basic skills. I don't even get excited when the Reds have a lineout in the opposition 22, just a feeling of resignation because I know they are either going to botch the lineout or spill the ball within two or three phases. And when Kerevi had...

Round 5 - Jaguares v Reds, Jose Amalfitani Stadium, Sunday 26 March @ 7:40am AEST

Real Comedy Capers stuff from the Reds. They look like startled rabbits when they make a line break, they have no idea what they are doing.

Round 5 - Jaguares v Reds, Jose Amalfitani Stadium, Sunday 26 March @ 7:40am AEST

Interesting team, I kind of like it. Stiles ain't dying wondering. Two wingers on the bench is a bit odd, but as we previously talked about I guess Maranta is fullback cover with DP covering 10 and Hunt 12.

Round 5 - Jaguares v Reds, Jose Amalfitani Stadium, Sunday 26 March @ 7:40am AEST

So change the lineup a bit & get stuck into them! Well if the journos are to be believed (and they usually are pretty accurate) they will be doing the first bit, with Tuttle, McIntyre and Rodda all to start. Whether they'll do the second bit we'll have to wait and see!

    Reds 2017

Yeah, I think it'll come slowly too. Same story with the offloads and late, flat passes. They have the right idea there, the passes just aren't going to hand or they're going forward. The few times they have stuck the Reds have been able to break the line so I do hold out hope one game soon it...

    Reds 2017

I don't think we're really at odds here as I was talking more about having that impact in the first 5 or so phases rather than British-style 12+ phase grinding out 1 metre over the gain line each time. It's putting that pressure on for a few phases that tends to get the defence scrambling...

Might also be time to give Neville a run off the bench? He doesn't have the power of Rodda but he is pretty bloody fast and athletic for a giraffe. Douglas just never seems to have fully recovered from his knee reconstruction.

Round 5 - Jaguares v Reds, Jose Amalfitani Stadium, Sunday 26 March @ 7:40am AEST

I would be pretty happy with that. Higgers has been probably our best forward and a 6/2 split with Korczyk and Tui coming off the bench is probably our best formula for forward running power. God how I miss Liam F Gill. And Browning for that matter.

    Reds 2017

Yeah, it's the standard problem the Reds have had since about 2014 - no real go-forward in forwards or backs. As with last year most of the tries have been either from line breaks off set plays or Kerevi crashing over from close range, there is very little of what we see with other teams where...

Round 5 - Jaguares v Reds, Jose Amalfitani Stadium, Sunday 26 March @ 7:40am AEST

As long as it's not a blowout and we're competitive I'll not be too unhappy. I think they'll do better than last week, I reckon the altitude played a fair part against the Lions. Playing with 13 men for 10 minutes and then 14 men for another 30 minutes at 1700m when not acclimatised is going...

    Reds 2017

Courier Mail says he's the most yellow carded Wallaby in history with 6 (equal with Hooper) and 5 of the 6 are for bad tackles. Most of those would be red under the current interpretations so Cooper is a real liability going forward unless he drastically modifies his technique. If he was in...
