That was a bloody awful game from both sides. Endless succession of penalties, dropped balls, passes to nobody, forward passes and bombed tries. And the Reds are now only 3 points away from top of the conference. Boggles the mind!

At least five or six bombed tries in that half. It takes a team as lowly as the Kings to really shed light on how truly terrible the Reds' handling actually is, because then you see them setting up chance after chance and butchering them.

Yeah Scoey's metric is fine, although you do have to be careful interpreting it. Getting flogged in the first half then slightly less flogged in the second half gives you a positive score when in reality it may just be that the opposition took the foot of the gas, which is what I think...
