    Brumbies 2012

Tomane just scored a freakish try on his GCT return. Will update at the end of the match. He hasn't missed any tackles yet but just lost a high ball

    Brumbies 2012

9 tries was it Lee haha Would love to see Tomane back in union, big winger/13 with a step and fend. Would bring a new dimension Digby-style to any team he played with. Heard a few reports from NRL fans that he is a bit shabby in defence . Nothing wrong with his attack though and he's a goal...

    Ma'a Nonu

Charlie Ngatai is a quality player with great pace. Played for the NZ U20's team last year and was a constant menace. Also played against the reds I think when Nonu was injured/banned and gave a good account of himself before he got injured. Even with that kind of replacement I think it was...

    World Cup Squads

Rupeni opted out of the world cup himself, didnt put himself up for selection. Nalaga left clermont a while back to go back to his village I think, that was the news on PR anyway. Nacewa as slim said doesnt want to play for fiji because he was bitter about it costing him an All Blacks place...

Australian Schoolboys and National Championships 2011

QC (Quade Cooper) fan you were right about the Aus schools 2010 vid. It became a private video some time after that for some reason. Found some footage of CFS, won't embed because they take up a fair bit of space. I believe he was no 11 for the first vid and no 14 for the rest. Skip to 2.52 in the aru...

The best XV of players from any school

I don't think it has been posted yet so here you go, found this the other day and I now have an idea about why Lee thinks KB (Kurtley Beale) was a schoolboy god. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExhE0Qs0W68 From what I have seen on youtube and my own collection, Aidan has produced some scintillating stuff...

    Reds vs Brumbies, 2011R16

It's funny that the "One Team" slogan was only released a couple of days ago and something like this happens. With regards to the kick: Yes it will not be beneficial to the Reds and possibly to the ARU. It didn't mean a great deal to the Brumbies (in terms of challenging for the playoffs)...

The Code: Life with the Waratahs

Just watched the first episode, I like the program mainly because it's about rugby and is well filmed. Kurtley and Burgo made me chuckle a fair bit, Berrick seems to have a fair bit of command over the backs as well. Nice guy as well

    Waratahs 2012

Did a bit of searching for pics of Rohan to see what you guys were on about. Found two, one was taken in roughly november 09. Where he was straight out of school and probably was about 75kgs. From the looks of it anyway...

To Forget Marseilles: The Critical Importance of Kicking

Fair enough Jnor, I dont think i would be much use in a scrum or lineout. I have done plenty of research on this and the only thing I have found that is regularly mentioned is timing. Thanks for that VRF had a look at a lot of the afl kickers and have tried to adopt their style although its...

To Forget Marseilles: The Critical Importance of Kicking

Go for it konze, although I really dislike them. As for the tactical kicking, nearly all of playmakers/kickers are 45-50 metre punt kickers. I know kurtley can belt it but Quade, JOC (James O'Connor) and Gits are all of similar punting lengths. Gerrard can launch it and that may be handy in wet conditions but...

To Forget Marseilles: The Critical Importance of Kicking

The higher tees are favoured by many league kickers as well. From my experience the high tees always get the ball roughly in the right direction with a decent connection. Also easier to curve if thats your thing. The low tees are more difficult to get right every time, although if you get good...

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

Have seen Sills on his sevens travels and he looks a bit of a shifter. Recently saw a small amount of footage of Nicky Price and he looked rapid as well. Would like to see Price on the end of a dominant backline on the tv. I know about Cam Mitchell and have seen some highlights of him...

To Forget Marseilles: The Critical Importance of Kicking

The good thing about JOC (James O'Connor)'s kicking technique is that he kicks straight through the ball and doesn't rely on a curve to guide it towards the posts. Once they are hit they go straight and if he works with Daryl in the off-season a bit I reckon he could be up to Morne's globally superior standards...

    Ireland's chances in the RWC?

I rate Ireland, especially since they beat England. Leinster have really stepped up this year after a bit of an ordinary start, Ulster were quality, Munster pretty decent but not as good as they have been in the past and Connacht were alright as well. Front row is a bit suspect in the scrum...

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

From what Ive read about the place Postal has a non stop motor. Look forward to seeing him play as he hasn't figured much at the force so far. Does anyone know how close Nicky Price was to making this squad, I noticed he was playing for Southern Districts this year but he hasn't made an academy...
