    Rebels tour of UK/Ireland

When did Sipa join the Tahs? Seems he's following a similar path to Peter Betham who hasn't settled at a franchise as of yet, which is a shame because both are top young talents

    Shute Shield 2011

Not on topic but I heard via a credible source that Nicky Price (southern districts wing) is leaving Aus for france in the next couple of weeks for at least 9 months. Not sure which club he has signed for though. Looking forward Lee's write up on Rob Horne!

    This guy i already like

Thanks for the mention Lee haha He cut a school friend of mine in half in a sevens tourny a couple of years back, my claim to fame in years to come is that I stepped him one on one in the same match :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPj95D0_n9w

    Berrick Barnes

Just for anyone that was interested or who didn't see the game. Berricks first game back http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hM1syokWo-8&feature=channel_video_title

    Argentina

I think Corleto has retired Light Either Horacio Agulla (leicester tigers) or Lucas Amorosino (ex tiger) will be at 15

    Richie McCaw

Pocock is a freak. The best tackler I have ever seen bar none (Betsen comes close but Pocock is ridiculous). He needs to replicate this form over the next few years to match Richie's legacy. Mank: I agree with the muscle mass thing, quite often the elite athletes aren't even gym monkeys they...

    Pat McCabe

It's probably because he was on one of the GAGR podcasts. Usually get a bump in loyalty points if they do appear on the website, the players are usually good lads anyway but I'm sure it helps. Maybe Tom Carter could do with an appearance on the podcast for this very reason :fishing Also...

    Western Force Infiltrating Joeys?

They already have/had someone at Nudgee who got a few of their boys out there. Nudgee and Joeys aren't exactly the worst schools to have links with, good ploy in my book

    Pat McCabe

One right Timmsy, 9 is Will Genia Have a closer look at the guy with the scrum cap, As much as I want to see JOC (James O'Connor) at 12 for the wallabies McCabe played very well yesterday and he should get a few more caps if he plays like that. Made a few breaks as well so he's more effective than Gits was...

    Pat McCabe

How is this for some archive searching, McCabe throwing a Sonny Bill offload back in 04. Points for whoever can name the other two professional players in this photo.

    NZ v Fiji Test 22/Jul/2011

That wasn't much of a spectacle at all. Slade was ok, nice try, pretty decent controlling of the pack but he threw a few loose ones in the opening 20 and didn't look all that comfortable. Ben Smith was good in his cameo, as was Piri. Guildford makes me chuckle when he runs down the wing...

John Grant signs with Wests Tigers

He has a similar physique to Matt Duffie of the Melbourne Storm (just made his debut for the kiwis as well the other month). I hope he goes well but with Utai and Tuqiri at the tigers he may find it tough to get a start

England to wear all black strip at rugby World Cup in New Zealand

The one we wore against you in November last year is apparently Anthracite not black. I'm guessing the world cup one is darker and that is probably why their is a bit of controversy. I might buy one if it looks good

    Tawera Kerr-Barlow, an interesting prospect.

Hes 19 enforcer, last years U20's scrum half and will probably be close to being in the Chiefs starting set-up next year. I wouldn't worry about him not having put a run of games together for a few years. He can sit behind Leonard and get a couple of starts next year.

So, the Australian scrum. Am I worrying too much?

Partly true but what about our better kicking game, Wilko was 4/7 whereas Mortlock was 2/5. Plus our old stagers had quality matches, Regan, Gomarsall, Robinson and Catt. Australia's improvement since 2007 has been out of sight, the addition of Pocock, a resurgent Sharpe and a more stable...

Benn Robinson Ruled Out for the 2011 Season with Injury

Tbh from what I've gathered from SHM, Slipper is pretty much guaranteed a test spot at no 3 because Fat cat is injured. Before Injury: 1. Robinson/Alexander 3. Slipper/Kepu After Injury: 1. Kepu/Alexander/Daley 3. Slipper

    All Blacks Squad

Was quite surprised with some of the Cartels decisions but I think they are trying to form the most solid squad possible. This shows with Slade over Cruden, Ben Smith over Ranger and Ellis over Matthewson. Disappointed not to see Cory Jane in the squad as well, I know he had a shocking Super...
