    Mallet's ruled himself out apparently

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

Haha Lee you sound like his grandad. Been reading a bit about Tuttle, apparently he's a bit of a sporting gun. Track star and dominant rugby player. Then saw some article about his younger brother a while back who plays all the footy codes to at least rep level. Was quite an impressive resume...

    Johnson quits England

Yeh the off field antics were ridiculous. I know its trivial but during the 6 nations apparently MJ told Ashton that if he did another swan dive he would drop him. Ashton did one straight away and didn't get dropped. I've seen coaches drop players at club level for stuff like that and although...

    Who is this player?

Havent seen that vid in a while actually, that pass is very Larkham to mortlock esque, in 2004 against the boks i think Thoughts: PAE - Dominant ball carrier cant wait to see him at the Rebels Gill - Absolute Gun! Stirzacker - great pass on him CFS - Decent even when he was 2/3 years younger...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Yeh my bad LG, thought you meant he wasn't fast period. He gave up in that race about 40m in and was in terrible shape. I think they were all a bit out of shape tbh as those times weren't brilliant. I find it hard to believe that im more than half a second quicker than Nathan Gardner (the guys...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

His defence isn't brilliant and hes a bit small, but talent wise he'd be right up there.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

He was LG, 08 and before he was rapid. He has never been successfully chased down from behind by a defender which is a remarkable feat. Now hes fat and has hip problems but before then, well have a look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_mv9ErPT1c

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Think you might be underestimating his pace darkhorse. Pretty sure hes considered one of if not the fastest player in the NRL, or at least he was in 08. Had a couple of knee injuries i think but is close to his previous sharpness.

    Thurston for Wallabies' Kicking Coach?

I know mate was just putting forward my thoughts on the subject. Also has anyone else (forum members) ever attempted these kind of kicks, they are really difficult to judge from the sideline. Literally impossible from the rhs as well

    Thurston for Wallabies' Kicking Coach?

Technically speaking Thurston is a terrible kicker, takes a far too angled approach to the ball. Hooks it and swivels across the ball, all are major faux pas in terms of kicking technique. Having said that he is a freak and is one of the most consistent goal kickers in footy. Braveheart also...

Gaggerland Rugby World Cup Media Performance and Awards

Nomination for Worst Commentator: Phil Vickery (ITV) - Constantly shouts and doesn't seem to understand the concept of impartiality. Feels like he is constantly probing my ears with his irritating voice.

    RWC QF2: England v France (W Pool B v RU Pool A)

I'm going to answer both of your questions in this thread Cardiffblue: Bearing in mind I'm in London. Loads of people at my rugby club were claiming welsh heritage yesterday as well as several people at work, its the fair-weather fan syndrome. Tbf English supporters are really bad for this sort...

    RWC 2011 SF1 - Wales v France

Was tearing it up at 15 earlier in the season. I remember watching him play a few years ago for the Scarlets, you could see the skills but he was such a nervous player I didnt think he would make it as a 10. Hook breaks the line a lot at 10 but he is quite selfish and doesn't manage the game...

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

Quade will have to run the show a bit better this week as well as create all the opportunities. Although McCabe and Finger are solid in midfield neither of them are likely to break through the Nonu-Smith combo. I haven't seen QC (Quade Cooper) break the line with hop step this tourny which is unusual for...

    RWC QF2: England v France (W Pool B v RU Pool A)

I'm really not sure who to support. France just knocked us out but I was born there. Wales are playing some great rugby but it seems all manner of people are claiming Welsh roots and their superficial support is winding me up. I think I might stay impartial and hop on either bandwagon when the...

England - Where to without Jonny?

Englands best future prospect at 12! He has only played one season at 10 and although he was composed he didn't actually do a lot. Been playing at 13 this season outside Charlie Hodgson. Will play for England within the next four years barring injury. Freddie Burns (Glos), George Ford...
