    CAS Rugby 2010

Knox 12 Oakhill 13 ( & deserved the win) Knox looked very impresssive for firstt 15 minutes but they did not maintain pressure & oakhill started to sweat on their mistakes. Knox backs were pretty pedestrian and their No 8 spends 50% of time standing out in backiline. Forward pack were...

    CAS Rugby 2010

Didn't see enough last year to really judge- was away overseas for couple of months. The competitive CAS Schools would miss the various `trials' they used to play with GPS Schools. In 2008 Knox played Kings,Shore,Riverview,Joeys & Newington. This year they have played Shore and I don't kinow of...

    CAS Rugby 2010

Not normally done on School websites. If you attend the game there are normally programmes available listing 1st,2nd XVs & perhaps 16As.

    CAS Rugby 2010

Refs Appointments lists both 1st & 2nd XVs. In Knox's case they are playing all teams against a comination of Oakhill and Redfield College. I would imagine it is similar at the other Schools.

    CAS Rugby 2010

Thanks for the `youthful' compliment- no My son left in 2008. Still take a keen interest though. Obviously early days but with CAS starting Saturday week, last chance for various coaches to do any tinkering. I would go with: Stannies Knox View Trinity Cranbrook However much of this based on...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2010

Shore were solid but no real standouts.Shore pack outweighed by Knox and this showed close to line with Knox powering over from forward charges. Shore had a couple of elusive backs who were difficult to drag down and if some of the passes had stuck they would have scored a couple more. Knox...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2010

Knox 17 defeated Shore 10 this evening @ Knox 1 A lot of dropped ball from both sides due to heavy dew on grass. Both sides had their moments.

I notice that Scots had a fairly comprehensive win against Waverly on the weekend. Can't recall the score. Shore play Knox, under lights, @ KG1 tonight- going over & will post score tomorrow.

Only problem is that the cameraman never focuses on opposing team or everything they do is edited out!

Yep- It's great to be a Queenslander!

    Curtain-Raiser-Waratahs vs Lions Friday12/03

Entertaining game- St.Augustines 31 Knox 15. Reasonable performance from both teams this early in their season. Auggies had a very slick bacline and were able to penetrate Knox backs, especially in 2nd half. Admittedly the Knox Coach obviously in `triall mode' and would have subbed up to a dozen...

Attendance Prediction : Tahs v Lions

I'll be there early- there is an interesting curtain-raiser @ 5.15 pm: Knox Grammar School vs St.Augustines(Brookvale) may be better than the main game!

    Curtain-Raiser-Waratahs vs Lions Friday12/03

Can't help you there- all I know is that it won't be a full-strength Knox team as any of their players still playing 1st Grade Criket/Basketball in the CAS competitions won't be allowed to play. Yes it is pretty early. Usually most Schools kick off in Easter holidays followed by trials in...

    Waratahs vs Sharks. Sydney.

I think you've already been outvoted there- replay showed it was not a knockdown- it was attempt at intercept and accordingly penalty/yellow-card was incorrect. What on earth are we paying Barnes for- he did nothing and was deservedly replaced rather than the maligned Carter who I consider had a...
