RWC Pool Match: Wallabies vs Ireland (Supporter meetup)

Kingslander. I'll be bussing in from the airport so a place right next to the ground suits me the best.

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

But did it back in 2003? From what I understand, James Pritchard went to Canada in 2003 to gain national selection, using his ancestry as a means to qualify to play over there. Maybe it was a Canadian immigration and citizenship requirement.

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

Aye, he did play for Randwick but he was born in and grew up in Parkes and his parents still live there. He qualified for Canada through a grandparent who was born in Saskatchewan.

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

That is unfortunate, there are heaps of ITM cup games on Fox. An international match should have a higher priority IMO.

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

Gee, I didn't realise that my hometown of Parkes was now part of Sydney, the suburban sprawl is now 350km west of the CBD.

RWC Pool Match: Wallabies vs Ireland (Supporter meetup)

I'm flying over from Sydney that day, arriving in Auckland at 3:20pm. Have booked a hotel near the airport and will drop the bags off and go straight to Eden Park. If anyone knows a prominent meeting point at the ground let us know.

    O'Connor at 12 and McCabe at 13

I like your logic, Slim. That means the Wallabies should play those tests in Canberra instead - they've scored an average of 46 per test and conceded 9 points per test.

    Veterans/Golden Oldies/Old Boys Rugby

Why are you shocked? We play two types of matches - the intra-club 'regular fixtures' where we split into two teams, and fund-raising matches where we play as a single team against a 'representative' team such as RMC, Army Old Boys, ACSC or another club like Jindabyne. Some of our members...

    Wallabies Jerseys Going Cheap

My experience Nelse was that the payment was charged to my Amex card a day or two after I got the email notification. I got an initial email within an hour of making the order and then a second email later that day with an order confirmation number and a delivery number that I could use to...

If you're in the Snowy Mountains on Saturday 13 August come along to the Jindabyne Sports Ground in Park Road to watch the ACT Veterans take on the Jindabyne Soreboars for the SnowyHydro SouthCare Cup, raising funds for the SnowyHydro SouthCare rescue helicopter service and the George Gregan...

    Wallabies Jerseys Going Cheap

I've become a defacto ordering agent for Wallabies jerseys from Pro-Direct. I was at Thredbo on the weekend and a couple of my colleagues at the ski school asked about the jersey I wore watching the Super Rugby final. I then got requested to order three more jerseys, as it's easier for them to...

    HSC rugby questions

Well the OP is wanting everyone to do his/her homework for them, at least he/she will have to sort out the wheat from the chaff.

Channel 9 continues the tradition of absymal free to air rugby coverage...

Agree that the figure was much higher. I have Foxtel at home but as I work at Thredbo on weekends I had to go to one of the bars in the village to watch the final. The place was packed, there would have been around 100 people in the small bar watching the two screens. That was just one venue...

    Reds Saders.. Pick the Result

Hoping the Reds win but thinking the Crusaders will probably get up. Will be cheering the Reds on at Bernti's in Thredbo tomorrow night.

    Wallabies Jerseys Going Cheap

No problems with my Amex card. After reading your post Apostle I checked my online statement, the charge from Pro-Direct was there and the only other charges were the usual petrol purchases for my weekly commute to Thredbo. What computer did you use? You may have a Trojan keylogger on it.

    Wallabies Jerseys Going Cheap

They are the genuine product. The Wallabies and Canadian RWC jerseys came in their KooGa packets and have the official licensed product tags from the ARU, Rugby Canada and the RWC. The Stade Francais jersey was in its Adidas packet.

John I Dent Cup - Canberra Competition -

I saw an article in the Queanbeyan Age where the Whites' coach was criticising the council for letting Campese Field go into a state of disrepair after the December flood. Apparently the ground is watered from the river and with the pumps being damaged the field wasn't watered over summer. He...

Who's going to the World Cup?

I finish working weekends at Thredbo on 11 September and I'm flying over to Auckland on 17 September for the Ireland game. I'm staying on for a week, visiting friends in Hamilton and Wellington and then catching the USA game in Wellington on 23 September. I'll then be back across to Wellington...

    Wallabies Jerseys Going Cheap

I got the Wallabies RWC jersey, the Canada RWC jersey (they're my second team) and a Stade Francais away jersey. The 3 jerseys plus postage was just under $200.

    Wallabies Jerseys Going Cheap

After seeing this thread last Tuesday (28 June) I went to the ProDirect website and ordered 3 jerseys. When I got home from work on Monday night there was a card in my letterbox from the courier company saying that they'd tried to deliver a parcel at 0830. I organised yesterday to have the...
