Sadly - we are already starting to see this creep in! http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/newslocal/manly-daily/pupils-banned-from-clapping-in-favour-of-silent-cheering/news-story/2b0c8a4bc95be39713678d73d314b0ae

PS. Just make sure the "Hour of Power" is not reduced!

On that basis, playing on the Old Boys must count as an away game!

Interesting to note the 14As & 14Bs (Joeys v. New) are on Johnson Oval!

I know at least 3 of the current 16s cohort, including those playing Opens, are already in Yr.11.

With the new Queensland Reds Coach being a former Terrace student, perhaps he might already be across this!!

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

With Joeys yet to play TAS in 3rds, and given only 1 win separates them, it could be tight!

I understand that Matt withdrew from selection given other family commitments. His absence is a pity!

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

I think Angus Duvall (N) and Liam Janson (N) both played lock for the 1st XV on the weekend, and both are eligible for 16s. Dom Easy (I) has typically played inside centre for the 1st XV, but he has covered 5/8 in Lenehan's absence. Angus Bell (I) has been playing at outside centre in the...

Having watched today's 16As Joeys vs. Scots ... if Will Harris (S) isn't one of the first back rowers picked ...

    CAS U16s 2016

I have watched Alex Rahme for the last 2 seasons through the rep program ... and he is a quiet achiever. He has a great work ethic, and is very physical defender. I would suspect he will be in the running come selection time.

I am not affiliated with Scots, but I understand they may have lost 9 (Strang), 10 (Mason) and 12 (Savala) to pre-season injuries. I am not sure on the extent of their injuries - assuming they have in fact succumbed - and how long they will be out for, but I would like to see them back playing...

    Another one: Angles-Corke, not Angus.

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

This year's 15As comp has certainly been very open! Joeys got absolutely belted by Riverview (Round 6), then were completely outplayed by a very good Scots the following week. They then bounced back 48-7 against New, which was then followed by knocking over an undefeated TKS last weekend 15-8...

I think that Daniel Darwall is one of the best open side flankers in Sydney, but from memory, he does not attend TKS. I think he attends an independent college in the Hills.

ARU Junior Gold Cup - National Junior Championships

Just had a quick look at the U15 Points Table (which includes Week 4 results) ... and unless I am missing something, the totals for Pool A appear to be wrong. SNH should have received 2 bonus points (given they scored 4 tries and loss by less than 7) for their loss to Victoria, which should...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2014

Kings had a washout (no result) in their first round match against Scots ... which translates to sharing the points i.e. same result as a draw. I understand the Newington lads are still playing in the 15As ... the 14As have finally managed to find their mojo!
