    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

He never said all locks were the same, he said a large group had similar ability and it's hard to say one is better than the other. My own thoughts are their all mediocre and we need sharpe to stay fit.

    Waratahs - post-season think

Heard their is talk of a "director of rugby" being the major offseason change, a position that has been discussed with an internationally experienced coach that may or may not be in continued discussions causing him to not sign somewhere else...........maybe.

    Waratahs - post-season think

Everytime I read a statement that talks of player disinterest, all it does is fill me with hope, if they are really disinterested and have been in a position with 20 to go to win every game, imagine what just a little interest will result in next year.

    Waratahs - post-season think

No he didn't. Nor did a lot of other blokes. Would mowen or the "selection" of Dennis served the waratahs better than what happened? It's just speculation. By this are you also suggesting that mowen is responsible for the brumbies winning more games this year? Or that he has played a part in...

    Waratahs - post-season think

As a collective unit can we stop discussing Ben Mowen, the guy decided to leave, he isn't a better player than palu or Dennis. His form isn't better at the Brumbies, just as Beales isn't any better for the rebels. He fits in well there and has rode the crest of a wave built on the back of a team...

    Waratahs - post-season think

This debate serves no merrit other than loyalty to a state team. Several waratahs players have gotten opportunity and performed at international level. It's nice to think that every player in form should be rushed into an international side and will reward there selection with success, but the...

    Waratahs - post-season think

The decision to appoint hangers captain was the bigger concern. I was fine with Elsom being elected and I'm sure there were hopes that from the 6 week mark he would be back and a constant in the side. Hangers was a stop gap appointment and the position should have gone to Robinson who clearly...

    Waratahs - post-season think

Agree with you scarf, wasn't saying x-factor in regard to something to rely on to get the job done but rather someone who has the ability to back themselves like a cooper, Beale, JOC (James O'Connor) etc. we have a Very solid unit with a lot of decent to good players in the backs and they should posess the...

    Reds v Waratahs Rd 18 2012

With a back line incapable of scoring points, I would say the ability (domination is a word I don't think any Australian team can claim) of the Tahs pack kept the team in contests that other Australian teams packs wouldn't have been able to achieve. But each their own.

    Waratahs 2013

Having watched training a few times this year, b.foley trained at 10 with the b team a few times and when he did Grayson was at 9. I think there may have been a feeling they had developed a combination in the training park that could transfer into the game rather than clutching at straws with...

Are you sure Marto didn't just catch a glimpse of his own reflection?

    Waratahs - Positivity thread

He has been an unsung hero, does fantastic work. His improvement from a form drop last year has been great to watch.

    Waratahs - Positivity thread

This is a waratahs positivity thread. It's not a discussion nor anything to do with the reds. It's about positivity and the Tahs. I suggest reading the opening post and adjusting your contribution accordingly.

    Waratahs - post-season think

It's a shame that internationals start so soon, think all the Tahs players could do with a month or more right away from rugby. They need to losen up and have some fun.

    Western Force 2013

if the media are to be believed im not sure cheika was the right fit. the timeline suggests the force approached him whilst he approached NSW. if true, it really shows a lack of passion for the position anyway. better off going with a coach who wanted the job as his first option.

im starting to think that certain reds fans dont understand the scrum at all.........

    Waratahs - Positivity thread

2013 is going to be a great year for rugby in new south wales. Tahs back to their best and our national club champions the Central Coast rays holding onto their title for another year,

    Waratahs 2013

In what way was he smug? Cannon asked him about needing the win and the obvious stress he has shown for the last few months resulted in him smiling at a question that was pretty much the understatement of the century.

    Waratahs - post-season think

Not many minutes, but in his position Dave Dennis was probably close to the Tahs best player and became a capped wallaby. So you can't really say it cost us all that much. He was made captain by a player vote, followed by foley recommending him to the board. Elsom is mocked quite a bit for his...

    Waratahs - Positivity thread

Keep it positive people. Let's face it, after the worst season in superugby history, the Tahs are the only team with supporters that can come together and share positives in the face of adversity. The mighty boys in true blue will be back next year, sans he burdon of expectation as underdogs...
