Maybe Wright...but Mcmahon, Poey, Hoops and Gill had all made names for themselves by the time they were Wrights age. Wright is 21. All the others were Australia capped by 20. Not saying he won't, but he isn't exactly making a name for himself, he is just moreso the only 7 the Reds have...

We need a no.2 openside. Noone else is even close. Samu is the only option behind Hooper if Pocock goes.

If only Folau had gone on a religious rant sooner. So many good players leaving. Probably time to cut another franchise. Already leaving: Reds: DP, Kerevi, Naivalu, Higginbotham, Timu Tahs: Rona, Folau, Phipps Brumbies: Arnold Rebels: Koroibete Potentially leaving: Reds: Waratahs: Kepu...

let's say Tahs/Wallabies are 50-50 for $ on folau. Where does RA invest the soon to be released funds? Working to keep Genia? Quade? Foley? Pocock? or bring back some liek White, Gill, Skelton, Naiyaravoro

Kafes COntract as Coaching Director ends in a couple weeks - I'd love to see a summary of his accomplishments in that role. 99% sure it was just a finding of "we need more collaboration"

yeh...standing someone down means you are pretty keen to lose them actually....

    Reds 2019

I'm pretty sure the Reds have already given contracts to every half decent kid coming through the development ranks. Hardy, Eadie, Campbell, Lucas, Wilson, Luka, Blyth, Mcreight, Maafu etc. Any deeper and we will be a legit U20 team.

With Quade, Hunt & Slipper payments going off the books, DP departing then Kerevi going, SURELY they could afford bring in a couple of people a bit further up the food chain to solidify the 10/12 window. Revisit the Mikeymike Harris.

Rennie yes Bakarat yes But it will be either Taylor or Wisemantel. Both got good lucrative digs and prospects. Both will see themselves as the next Wallaby coach after Rennie. Couldn't afford both. Don't be surprised to see Rennie (or the next Head Coach) reinstate Larkham.

Higs got 3 years in bordeoux i saw - That's huge for someone of 32, with a young baby, and lost one of his japanese seasons coz of neck injury. Good luck to the big weapon - one of my all time favourite @ no.6, a running, jumping, offloading, linking 6ft4 110kg weapon. However - need another...

Coach will just be a caretaker to get through WC, as Cheika said, just someone to help communicate on the pitch. New Coach will pick new Attack Loving the following as it doesnt impact any Super Rugby makeups: Head - Rennie Attack - Wisemantel Defence - Taylor Forwards - Bakarat

Tahs chasing Lukhan no surprise, but I wonder where Tupou would want to go if those rumours are true? Tahs to replace Kepu? Or overseas for BIG money, considering Ala'alatoa is getting the lions share of THP cash in Aus.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

There will be no surprises with the Front Row - Kepu will be the 5th Prop (both sides) with Sio & Slipper as LHP and Ala'alatoa & Tupou as THP. There is noone else worthy of mention at this stage, with Smith (Reds LHP) and Ainsley (Rebels THP) the deep deep backups, and that is even is Smith...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I'm going to go selfish. I get tired of posted what I THINK would get picked. I like players so I'm going to throw them in haha. Whether or not they would be great - I just like to see these players in action at their best. I think their best is the best, just sometimes not consistent. Eg Higs...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

It has been reported that the Wallaby backline play was quite easy to predict. Relying on individuals to dominate collision for go forward. In that environment, you need at least 3 'strike runners' which maddocks is not. However if the attack was slightly more tactical/opportunistic, which is...

Hopefulyl Toua is back from injury for a bit more speed late in the game, but pretty sure they will keep Kerevi at 12 (though I disagree) 1. Smith 2. Amosa 3. Thor 4. Rodda 5. Tui 6. ASY (Angus Scott-Young) 8. Higs 7. Wright 9. Sorovi 10. Stewart 11. Daugunu 12. Kerevi 13. CFS 14. Naivalu 15. Hegarty 16. Mafi...

    R3 - Reds vs. Crusaders - Suncorp

I completely agree and you seem to agree with me also.......my comment was a response to my original comment that he should not have started, because his physiology isn't there yet. YET. 2 seasons would be about right. Except tracking, which is more correlated towards awareness and...

    R3 - Reds vs. Crusaders - Suncorp

Hanigan plays ferociously also, but unfortunately, physiology is not on their side. Hockings is 206 cm, closer to Arnold then to Simmons. Hockings is just too ... lanky. Watch him around the field, he is fit and industrious but is slow, slow feet, weak drive, weak impact.

    R3 - Reds vs. Crusaders - Suncorp

For his height, he is quite light. No impact. Should never have started. Tui back to lock, and a more dynamic player into the backrow (Higs/Timu)
