    Reds 2020

Apart from JOC (James O'Connor), are there any rumours of signings from outside out Academy system? I imagine a few academy guys might get promoted.

As Thorn said with Hegarty, they hired him as a 15 so wanted him to play him there. Hence Mcgahan moved to 10 which is where they hired him for. I'd start Stewart at 10, then give Lucas the chance to eventually take one of their spots as starting.

    Reds 2019

Gotta pick and stick with one. I'd be hesitant about Lucas being full time go to at 10. Let him ride the pine more, covering FB and 10. Stewart 10, Hegarty 15 for starters

As the no.3 Hooker (behind Fainga'a & Uelese) - and under pressure for even that, probably means no RA topup. Wouldn't be surprised if he went $$$

I dare say if it is like France, you can earn more if you agree to rule yourself out of test selection.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

If he didn't want to stay in Melbourne for another 2 years, then yeh I would say it was elaborate..but he did, and the only way that was going to happen was with an RA top up (which they offered him) and that would mean he would have to play wallabies. So yeh - he probably wasn't done, until he...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

It could be a massive factor - he strongly indicated he wanted to stay in Melbourne, but RA wouldn't go another 6 months - so not only did he reject their offer, he makes himself unavailable from overseas. RA would definitely have thought they could pick him from overseas - but he has closed...

Genia retiring from International rugby post WC. He wanted a 24month deal, RA offered him 18. So he then goes to Japan and retires from international rugby....can't help thing that RA really should have gone for 24 months......

    Reds 2020

I believe you have to have the Super Rugby component signed, hence why they are saying JOC (James O'Connor) won't be able to be picked for SA game. If so, does this mean White would not eligible either? He is probably read to rock on being announced, but waiting for Genia to announce departure. Lomani would be...

Yeh - Reds were going to get him, but got JOC (James O'Connor) instead so no room for Mcgahan

Saracens v Crusaders 3317 v 1989 in Professional games 545 - 565 in tests Held in 2019 - Very close, but 2020? Remove Read, Franks, Taufua, Todd, Crotty and it definitely swings to Saracens favour. Both teams also have uncapped/low capped players who have been selected in most recent...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Maddocks will be SUPER lucky to progress to WC. I think he is super lucky to be in this squad, considering only 1 strike winger was selected (Koroibete) with Pulu, Speight & Naivalu left behind, yet we have an abundance of guys who are kicking options for the back 3 ahead of Maddocks- DHP...

Dang, Wisemantel should be the next Wallabies attack coach. Reds need another backrower - but someone with a bit of in tight muscle. Wells is not what they need.

I'm struggling to see Lukhan at 6 with Naisarani at 8. I would have seen Lukhan at 6 with Mccaffrey at 8, or Jones at 6 with Naisarani at 8. Utility Dempsey on bench.

I think cut down by 2 spots to 31, he may be the unlucky back to get the shove, but I do understand the, if TK goes down, who would you want.
