So is Kurtley technically a Tah again or had his contract expired anyway?

I'm guessing the next step would then be each player having a permanent number, rather than a number that reflects their position on the field

    Wallabies 2024

Surely there is only one JB. His footwork from the back would have been phenomenal though

    Aussie Player Exodus

Problem is they reckon a new stadium won't fit on that site. The new stadium will be at Bruce again, current discussion is whether it will be a refurb, a knockdown rebuild on the same spot, or build it on a different spot at the AIS (allowing them to still use the current stadium during...

The one and only Wallaby Coach thread

There will still be full houses for the Lions game, just it will be 80% travelling support. That's probably better in regards to the money.

Unless you're busting out the ouija board at a seance that might be a bit tricky

3 premiership games for 2 losses and a win I think. Looks like he's sticking with what's worked in the past:

Obviously we didn't go back far enough into the glorious past with Eddie, here's the new coach right here (in conversation with the new Director of Rugby)

    Australian Rugby / RA

In their heyday back in the early 2000's they did draw half-decent crowds, averaging over 20K in some years. They just never came back after some of the leaner years, though I think in part that was just part of the general malaise surrounding Australian rugby for the last 15 or so years. Also...

A high profile NRL convert coming to Canberra? It will never happen. It'll be Tahs or Rebels

    Wallabies 2023

Guess this might be an example from closer to home: Though that only really works in a packed stadium. When it's half full it's not quite the same

    Wallabies 2023

Doesn’t the money the players earn (and it’s not all of them I think) come from endorsements rather than being paid by the college? And the TV rights deals the colleges sign up to are huge compared to super rugby

    Wallabies 2023

I guess if you don’t have to pay your players you can probably put a bit more into your pre-game entertainment

Wallabies 2023 World Cup Positivity Thread

In 2003 the Eddie Jones coached Wallabies lost to the All Blacks 21-50 then turned it around to beat them in RWC semi. Maybe Eddie’s playing the long game

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, but my recollection is that while Hodge has big boot it takes him a while to wind up and he can get charged down a bit more often than you'd like
