2011 RWC - Pool C - Australia, Ireland, Italy, USA, Russia

For that to happen , Australia have to have an absolute shocker against Russia, Italy and Ireland BOTH have to score 4 tries a piece, and Ireland lose by less than 7.. very unlikely scenario.

RWC 2011 - Pool A - NZ, Tonga, France, Japan, Canada

actually they've only one one game, they beat Zimbabwe putting 50 odd points on them in 1991. edit : oops sorry - I thought you were talking about japan. Canada have made the quarters before in 1991.

Gorgodze(illa) from Georgia had a stormer against England.

RWC 2011 - Pool B - Scotland, Romania, England, Georgia, Argentina

I think its highly likely given the way they took appart romania . Plus knowing that it can be done with a bonus point i think thats what they will go out and try to do . The hard bit will be England losing to scotland by more than 7 . I see that less likely than arg not getting 4 against...

If Scotland beat England next week, and England don't get a bonus point. They are outtie :D.. one time, please Scotland beat England with no bonus point.

    RWC Wallabies v USA - 23 September

Good assessment - my comments to my wife were "it wasn't a clinical performance like South Africas against Namibia" ..... that said - they did the job. I picked them by 60+ ... so I think its a pass mark..

    RWC Wallabies v USA - 23 September

Its an omen - only team in 1999 to score a try against us was the US.

Kiwi hate vibe is marring World Cup

Agree totally - I have always enjoyed watching rugby with kiwi supporters, have always been light hearted banter before and during the game , as soon as a final whistle goes, the gloves are off and its time to enjoy each others company. Over the years Ive had some horrendous experiences with...

Kiwi hate vibe is marring World Cup

Some can be attributed to forum message boards - I think its flow on effect from media articles though from all nations journalists. The "wallabies are arrogant" view couldn't be further from the truth - I haven't seen one player say that any game is going to be easy, nor have you seen them even...

Tournament Rule if Pool Points are Equal

I was going to post a new thread for this but figured it might be best said in here : All this talk about Pool A runner up having an easier run to the final and wether or not France or New Zealand would "throw" the game to finish second (I personally would NEVER ever see a kiwi rugby side...

Kiwi hate vibe is marring World Cup

I must say I am getting a little tired of some of the serious abuse Ive been copping from some. I don't mind healthy banter, it goes both ways - but there is no excuse for any fan from any country to get personal .

Tournament Rule if Pool Points are Equal

of course its highly unlikely - but its possible. Hey - it was unlikely that Samoa would beat Australia a few months back, it was unlikely Ireland would beat us last saturday, it was unlikely France would beat the all blacks in 99 and 07.... see my point?

Tournament Rule if Pool Points are Equal

So say Ireland, Aus and Italy all finish with 3 wins and a loss. I assume it would go like this 1st - Ireland (cause they beat Australia) 2nd - Australia 3rd - Italy (cause they lost to Australia?) Or becuase there is 3 equal teams it then goes on for and against? etc etc down the list.

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

24hours on - and it hurts more. I thought I was ok with it , but tonight it hit home more. hate copping so much shit on facebook. it feels like we got knocked out . hope we turn it around. im gracious in defeat but this one hurt, only 3rd to losing ot england in 07 and 03...... Slack summed it...

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

oh I know that - to be honest Im worried about coming up against either SA, Wales or Samoa - SA of course can beat Australia on any given Sunday but on their day so can the other teams... its going to be a nervous quarter final no matter who we face.
