When and where do TSS play Nudgee-? seems you all agree with me that this is the GF. Went down and watched TSS train the other day. Jesus- they are a big squad. There seems to be new boys I ( my son) does not even know - but those new backs from NZ look scary good .10, 12 ,13 depth is ridiculous.

I actually think you have it spot on - apart from TGS will be above Churchie - if all these league boys adopt quickly .Well done

You seem to be forgetting that it appears that up to 5 or 6 of that sensational BBC 15A backline of last year will be in the firsts and the best of them left and went to league.unless they play 10 man rugby - i cant see that being as good as last year.no doubt the 10 will be in the firsts as well .

As usual WW - very funny and very accurate. My only comments from down GC way are: 1) TSS - land of giants meets Titans- and NZ Maori. Number 13 has 2 new mates; 2) GT - for a school with no boarding house- a real PI influence. i am backing only 2 players in backline not PI; 3) NC will have one...

I hear that TSS played St Joeys NSW this week and: 1) won easy; 2) Joeys shocked by size and depth of TSS I have been telling you- there will be cricket scores in 2 nd xv this year.

The way he played today you may well be right. That Reds under 20 backline is sensational. 10,11and 15 were the pick. Do they have a player of the tournament ? Has to be reds 10. Looked like a GPS 2015 re union out there .

Galloper I am a TSS man -and yes we developed(in 2002) the 2 year- grade 12 system so many of the boys are 18. Not sure about NC -I think it will be less than TSS who have 7 or 8 who will be 18. Looking through the records over the last decade ,the 2nd xv comp has really been a 2 horse race...

As i have said before the depth at NC and TSS this year is ridiculous. I expect some cricket scores in the 2 nnd xv especially. Be warned it will end up like NSW GPS Poor old NC 16A players from last year will not get much of a look in. What is that -5 new boys in grade 11 at NC at about the...

he is not playing NRL. He got selected for the under 18's SG Ball but declined their offer because his loyalty is with his school and team. he is still here for school and doing trainings every morning getting ready for GPS Didn't they say the same thing about the star number 13 at BBC who...

I agree - up until 2002 TSS were the whipping boys - then along comes Jonnie - comes - lately and premierships;podium finishes, enrolments and $ $ follow. And as do the Wallabies- Sharp,Rogers, Simmonds, Tapui,Lance,, Slipper etc etc

Agree with all you say Vagas and Henry . But how do you fix it.? This applies to ALL GPS sports ,not just rugby. At the risk of shitting in my own nest - take a look on 3 March at how many boys in the NC and TSS swimmimg teams started in 2017( but are not swimming in under 13) The same goes for...

Repeat after me " the depth at Nudgee and TSS this year is staggering" Went up to BBC for cricket ion Saturday. Why are their ovals always so green? So they have lost : -their 12 and probable captain -injured; - their 13 and goalkicker -back to NRL by order of Broncos.(like Ponga) My mate(who...

100 % correct. You can start any time and play 1st xv unless you are on any form of fee assistance-then it must be day 1 AND year 11 or under. Same rule for: 1)other 1st sports -cricket,tennis,etc etc; 2) any GPS championship -x/country/swimming and T&F. But as we all know the rule is sooo...

TSS and Nudgee ---then daylight because: 1) they both have between 6 to 8 back plus 2 to 3 new boys; 2) TSS number 13 has two more very good boys from NZ joining him; 3) The new boys at NC appear to be league boys; 4) TSS and NC had the best 16A teams last year; 5) having won the 2nds for last 5...

TB usually throws in a uniform as well (especially to boys from other GPS Schools). Edmund Rice would have a fit.

With that as the context it's surprising to hear that school's are "pinching" kids from other GPS Schools. Dear King I am not sure "pinching" is really correct. The BSHS boys and the BBC boy who are all transferring to the same GPS school -obviously have an interest in doing so-it is a two...
