    Shute Shield 2012

No, the decision in the end should be for the student but I don't know, I would just like it if there was a strong link, some kind of incentive for players to move straight from school side to local side.

    Shute Shield 2012

All for schools linking up. Gordon have lost great schoolboy potential talent such as Australian Schoolboy players Tim Duchesne (Knox to Norths) and Stu Goodman (Barker to Sydney Uni)

    Shute Shield 2011

The Australian is reporting that bowls will no longer be broadcast. No news about NSW club rugby turning off on ABC. The NT rugby finals however will be gone. Someone claimed here before that NSWRU/SRU are the ones who fund the broadcasting costs not ABC.

    Australian Provincial Rugby Competition

Doesn't help when broadcasted matches film from the view of the grandstands where most of the crowd sits. You only get to see the opposite side of the field where barely anyone sits. You get that with Warringah and Gordon games. Not that I'm saying they change it, it'd be alot of work setting up...

    Wallabies V Samoa - Test 2011

Did Australia lose to the same Samoan team that finished last in the pacific tournament which was won by Japan this year?

    Wallabies V Samoa - Test 2011

Was part of a Wallabies commercial at SHORE on Friday. My job was to mark James O'Connor on a few plays, was joking with mates that I caused the strain. I saw O'Connor walk off and sit down in pain, didn't realise it was like that.

SupeRugby Final 2011: Queensland Reds V Canterbury Crusaders

Probably already mentioned but wow for the match selling out in 45 minutes I don't even think the origin decider sold out that quickly.

    Shute Shield 2011

I totally agree. Everything is so much better on rectangular fields though teams like Gordon (yeah I gotta stop talking about my own team) don't really have that option. No rectangular fields on the upper north shore afaik except for Knox Grammar School Rugby Field which is excellent. Plenty of...

    Shute Shield 2011

Gordon won in 1998 and on that subject I felt they were sloppy in their win today, could be a win on the cards for Warringah next week.

    Shute Shield 2011

With Ben Whittaker having moved to Norths, yeah, nobody. Stirling Mortlock hasn't played for Gordon since 2003 so that probably won't happen either.

    Shute Shield 2011

Looking at the top 6 1. Eastwood 2. Easts 3. Manly 4. Sydney University 5. Randwick 6. Norths Might be a bit too early to say this but I can't see any of the top 5 falling out of it or even falling back to 6. Too solid and consistent. So basically a fight for 6th spot in the finals between...

    Shute Shield 2011

Went to TG Milner today to watch Eastwood v Gordon. I must say TG Milner is an outstanding place to watch rugby, close to the action and big crowds, although it looks far to easy for somebody to get in for free. Eastwood won by 5.. 27-22. It wasn't a win for Gordon but this close result along...
