Surely the ARU wouldn’t set something like this up and then say "Right, hands up, who is in? It will cost you $X".......??? Like NSW Cup, QLD Cup league, these games need exposure. TV coverage, some big sponsors, backing from the ARU and a chance to develop into a proper 'next level'...

Franchise teams would have to be the way to go... surely?? Fair enough, my beloved Norths might struggle to get a player or two in on recent form, BUT at least we will know who to support AND it is then a goal/target for players who want to play the next level... a bit of exposure which could...

I'm sure I speak for all clubs when I say, We NEED to know ASAP so we can all start planning... pre-seasons, camps, trials, etc. Starting at the start of March vs Easter in Mid April is a 6 week gap!! Thats massive in regards to planning. As The Big Dog mentions, the reason for the delay...

AND games are Televised - even if only on Regional TV??

For the National Comp, thinking outside the box here..... why not have a knock out type system?? A real loose example: 16 teams - Top 5 Qld teams, Top 5 Shute teams, 2 ACT, 2 Melb, 1 SA, 1 WA etc etc. Knock out comp. Seedings, but not sure of criteria on how to seed?? Open for suggestions...

First time poster, long time reader :) Would be good to have Logan in I think. 10 teams are better than 9. Give them a shot and see how they go?? In saying that, a couple of bye rounds wouldn't be a bad idea. Catch up on any bad weather rounds etc. Plenty of happenings and movements at...
