Scott Allen was very persistent with Andrew Blades. I reckon our guys would be 100 times more likely to chase answers than any of the clowns on the Rugby Club.

McKibbin in particular. He's a good kicker and safe enough at 9, but I don't think he offers enough. Foley might not be at the necessary level just yet, but I think he deserves significant investment by the Waratahs. He could be their flyhalf for a long time, but getting there won't happen over...

Or getting a break due to injury. I remain unconvinced that McCabe is the best long-term option at 12, but I certainly think he will get a run there in this game. And should. I'd like to see Tapaui get a go on the EOYT.

I really don't get the Tapaui controversy. He played okay apart from bombing a try (which, IMO, basically also describes most of Horne's performances). He ain't the messiah, but he's not a very naughty boy either. It's one bloody test. He did okay -- some good stuff, some shit stuff. One good...

Meh. Taps was the best choice for 13 and generally did pretty well. He made one very poor decision but showed why so many rate him highly. I don't get why we expect players to be the messiah in their first test.

Aside from butchering a try, I thought Taps was good. He runs great lines (his dummy line for Ioane's try was perfect).
