    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

It's not my intent. I never asked for hard evidence, I asked for an example. I said "have you seen his schedule" but honestly cyclo, having met me do you believe I actually expected a photocopy of his diary or that I was respinding to things such as "asleep at the wheel" or "missing half the...

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

I don't think I've explained my point in the JON thread well, but needless to say, if I could I accept your apologies. In the mean time. 3 different sources about Qld pushing for there man at the ARu vs 0 for JoN not having enough time for the ARU.

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Redshappy - can I just ad, I believe both Growden and Carmichael. I don't find it a stretch to believe that Carmichael wants the ARU job, he is an excellent administrator that has done a fantastic job, if he has personal ambition then doing a similar thing with the national game would surely be...

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Nope, read it and try again. I said its obvious there is political monuvering. I didn't say anyone was right or wrong. Repeated that I wasn't n anyone's side. Have given three examples from 3 different jurnos that there is a push on. In the JON Missing thread, there is one article sighted...

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Fair enough. Even so, 3 sources and counting, as I said, I don't have a dog in the fight but it seems that's fight is brewing. If the leaks are coming from south of the border that's one thing, but the leaks are coming because of the perceived threat from the north, hence why it's a fight along...

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Queensland officials were quick to deny there is a concerted campaign north of the border for Ewen McKenzie to replace Deans as Wallabies coach. No matter what, R&M has had it confirmed from several officials in the know that there has for some time been a push from up north for the Reds' chief...

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Then this statement: "Also there have been suggestions in the media that Quade's actions are part of a Queensland Rugby campaign to bring about a coaching change at a national level, however, I can assure you this is not correct." This is disingenuous. There is a Queensland push for Ewen...

The dying - perhaps death - of Rugby in Australia.

I think in order for that to happen someone would have to back cooper up. The fact that hasnt happened would suggest that Quade isn't interested in what the code can do but what the code can offer him.

Gel - when has the ARU politics made sense, as I have already corrected myself, it isn't about the reds organisation v the ARU but more politics based on state lines. I apologies I didn't make that clear.

The dying - perhaps death - of Rugby in Australia.

The way professionalism has worked out, walking out for money could have improved the codes standing.

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

I don't havea dog in the fight, though I do find it interesting that people seem to think an organisation struggling for money doesn't have a third tier comp, a winning national team etc etc due to JONs decisions. I do look forward to the ARU rolling in cash and opulence under different...

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Why? Maybe Jim is in the wrong, we have no idea why it's happening, evidence just points to the fact there is some political fighting about it.

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

There been more than that written on it, I will do some more googling later just for you. But heads up, if JON (not my man, please reread my other comments on him) "has launched a pre-emptive strike" then doesn't that prove there is a fire? I'm not saying its right or wrong, just that there is...

Quade telling it how it is

I don't think anyone said he was useless, just that he isn't indispensable.
  15. waratahjesus

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

But as the pressure on the national body begins to intensify, the ARU appears to have been forced into a new and more desperate game, criticising the one component of Australian rugby that is thriving at present, Queensland. In the wake of Quade Cooper's ill-timed, poorly thought-through and...

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Richard graham is your head coach. The ARU has been abut state divide for years, it isn't about the reds themselves. It isn't a bad thing, it's just old boy politics, it keeps getting mentioned by Growden, Harris etc. it's power, everyone wants power.

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

I don't really havea feeling on it, I wanted link back in the day before deans when reds fans were adimant he couldn't coach. Now that link has shown at two Aussie teams he can coach I think he should get his chance. (although I think it important to note that links record is no better than nuci...

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Didn't say I agree with it, just if you read back through articles written over the last year or so, there is an underlying reds v ARU vibe. Politics being politics, someone has to miss out.
  19. waratahjesus

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

I agree he doesn't have great runs on the board but on the plus side from an ARU point of view -already under contract -knows coaching set up -would probably be happy to keep assistant coaches -already politically known.

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

There is a reds v ARU power grab going on. Jim wants the CEO badge, others don't want him to have it. As a result they will vote against anyone aligned with the Reds getting power. I still think link was a chance til quadegate, now that chance seems unlikely unless they rip Quades contract up...
